Great location, excellent sea quality, peaceful sunbed & beach setup

Sunbed and restaurant setup was great and peaceful, even though the high number of the people in the facility, children and pets, beach feels the freedom of resting in peace. It was a great greek breakfast, friendly staff all around the facility. Sheets and towels were always clean, smelling nice.

There is no changing room at the beach. Toilet is not a hygenic and good option. Family room has only 1 bathroom, not enough for 4 people. Bathroom air circulation is really poor.

Charming vacation

Good things: location is at the end of the village and it is peaceful and relaxing place. The staff are always polite and attentive. The restaurant offers a wide choice, enough food and different dishes every evening. They did their best to arrange chairs and umbrellas on the small private beach. Rooms are large and comfortable. Sunset views are unforgettable. The pool is good alternative if the beach is overcrowded and it has separate 40sm kids pool.

Bad things: Small beach with stones. The sand was black and gets very hot during the day. They explained us that it was result of seastorms and vulcano last of the place. If you want nice beach, proper for kids - go to Siviri, on 7minutes from hotel. Bar on the beach is overpriced, the waiter forgot part of our order and they pay you no attention, unless you call them. Cleaning was not good - we find hair on the floor after maids. There isn't any playground for little kids and babies.

The room is not suited for a 5 stars hotel, 2008-2010 bathroom that was not clean at all. Every corner of the room was slightly off and dirty The hotel needs an upgrade on room design to become suited for 2025 standards of a 5 stars hotel. Overpriced dinner.

Lovely hotel, very relaxing lovely staff but not 5*

Clean, nice staff, great food and a really spacious room! Pool was lovely and never felt busy (but beach area was more so) beautiful views!

Whilst this is a lovely hotel and we enjoyed the stay I have marked it down for a few reasons 1. I wouldn’t say it was 5* and would have been very disappointed if I had paid the full price for a week (we only stayed 3 nights) this was quite disappointing on arrival! 2. It didn’t have the amenities you would expect from 5*! Room is spacious but basic and for example we only ever received one bottle of water in the room for 4 people for 4 days! No tea/ coffee machine - never experienced this from a 5* especially no water when you can’t really drink tap!! And 3. We booked for the kids club as my kids love to do activities during the day with other kids out the sun - This really isn’t a kids club more a supervised nursery - if you have kids under 3 it’s perfect - anything over they will maybe just pop in for half hour to do drawing there’s no organised games or activities or interaction

Very nice hotel with a nice private beach and very welcoming staff

We had an excellent 5days of holiday in Olympion Sunset. It is located in a small holiday village. Nice beach, nice food and nice beach bar. Food was very tasty. Especially in beach bar. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Not a big hotel but very relaxing atmosphere it has. Highly recommended.

Perfect family reset and relax vacation

Conformable room for 5 of us, cleanliness, quietness, comfortable sun-beds, beach towels... This was our second year in a row; and we are for sure coming next year, too. BIG thanks to the nice stuff.

if it is possible for breakfast to have next time little bit more vegan options (ex. almond milk, vegan yogourt, vegan pie...); for dinner it was ok

Amazing property with even more amazing people, on top notch clean beach

Amazing beach, great staff at all parts of hotel, very nice restaurant/bar next to beach. Hotel has everything needed that you never have to leave it for a minute, making it a true vacation.

Not bad

Location. Ground floor beachfront room is really comfortable with small kids . Staff were very polite and friendly. Room was very clean

Bathroom doesn’t have a door and walls. The toilet is super uncomfortable and if you are taller than 1.80m you cannot fit in the separated room(place) for it. The hotel charge you for iron. It was mention that water kettle is available in the room but it wasn’t. Breakfast coffee is crap and if you want an espresso you need to pay 5 euro extra. Restaurant buffet was really small and it feels that everyone is in hurry. If 10 people try to get a food in the same time it was total mess. Definitely not a 5 star experience. Most probably 3 stars. I’m not sure how Greece give the stars ( I can bet that they doing it with closed eyes). This is my 10th year in Greece and I have been in many hotels with 3 and 4 stars at least 2 times better than this one - breakfast, lunch, coffee, iron, room facilities

We were very big family, 8 rooms, people of all ages and we all had wonderful time.

The room was nice big and comfortable. Very clean. All the facilities are clean and the crew was very friendly, tried to help in any request. It was just an excellent vacation.

Because of the poor beach and the sewer smell won’t return.

The room was very nice. The food was good although a little more variety would have been nice for longer stays as we did. The staff was very friendly. The sun beds were very nice.

The beach was disappointing. There is almost no sand and it is very rocky and hard to walk on unless you have water shoes. We also had a continual sewer smell that they couldn’t resolve. A couple times it was very strong and coming through the air conditioning vent somehow, that they denied was happening. It was so bad it woke us up in the middle of the night. Although it was very hot we had to open all the doors and windows and turn off the AC which was blowing it into the room at that time.

I liked the proximity to the sea and the location.The staff was mostly friendly and offering to help when needed .

I did not like the food, it was very mediocre and the buffer poor for a 5 star hotel. There was no kids menu at the a la carte restaurant and in general the hotel was not kids and especially infants friendly. No room for prams to navigate to the beach- too many stairs for the room and no lift (there were ground room options but we had a 1st floor one) so had to carry the baby and pram.

Disappointing

Staff were very supportive and responsive, and breakfast was very good!

I paid for garden view but I was accommodated in the room viewing mostly the back wall of the pool bar/restaurant which was less then 3 meters away from the balcony. I was not able to sit in the balcony at all due to the very noisy ventilation units from the lunch time until 11pm. In addition, the smell and smoke came from the same bar/ restaurant due to various meat/ food cooking. Next to the balcony it was a walking path that connects the main pool, the bar and the beach and people were running, talking and laughing loudly next to the room. I felt very uncomfortable in that room. There is a problem with free ombrella and sunbeds, this is not well organized by the hotel, as there were guests occupying beds at the beach, garden and at the pool so you can easily be involved in the incident when looking for empty beds, like 5 persons occupying around 30% of the ombrellas and sunbeds. One of the best hotel experiences I had.

Great place for families, pool and beach close to one another, plenty of places with shadow, full time lifeguard at the pool always paying attention to children, rooms are very spacious, staff was more than nice, always smiling. Good food, restaurant with an amazing view. Quiet during the nights.

Super great family hotel The hotel has nice big and clean rooms. The small beautiful and well-kept courtyard of the hotel is equipped with two small pools - swimming area for young and old. The staff is more than friendly, reliable and helpful. It takes only a few steps to get to the hotel's own beach. The sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels are provided at no extra charge. Fresh beach towels are distributed daily. If you are looking for peace and quiet and real relaxation, this is absolutely the right place. The food is varied and very tasty. I would recommend booking half board - otherwise you might miss something. The restaurant is located on the last floor of the hotel (3rd floor). From here you can enjoy the sunset in all its color facets with the view of Olympus. In the sea you can have a lot of fun - canoeing, paddling, water scooter, or glisser rides (controlled by the boss directly or by qualified personnel) are offered here. are offered here. I stay already the second time in the hotel and must unfortunately leave tomorrow. The first time I was at the end of September 2019, I am sure that I will soon be the guest of the hotel again. Thank you for everything!

Good but not excellent

The place is amazing and the view of the sunset was terrific. It is perfect for families with children and in fact, there were a lot. The people are incredibly welcoming and the overall the experience is good.

The buffet has good quality but it is very small and has an extremely poor variety of food. In general, the hotel seems more like a high-standard 4* hotel than a 5*. The room (we have been in a suite) is ok but not incredible there is the need for some restoration/updates.
