Spacious Room in the Heart of Bologna

Such a convenient location to walk around Bologna. Damiano our host accomodated every need and was very attentionate. The House smells amazing and the Narrative and offer is caring and considerate. Room had a window, spacious shower and coffee machine/kettle free for us to use. Highly recommended!

Lovely room shame about the noise

The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable, the location is very convenient. Helpful instructions and recommendations.

There is no staff at reception (if you chose self check in, you don’t see anyone). The aircon was pumping hot air, meaning we had to sleep with the window open… there are 2 bars across the road very loud noise from the street until 4am.

Our Little Haven in Bologna

Our stay was exceptional. The room was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, and carried a sense of freshness and comfort throughout. The private balcony offered stunning views, and the property’s location in Bologna was truly ideal — close to the heart of the city yet pleasantly serene. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring a seamless and efficient self check-in experience. The building’s entrance and lobby provided a strong sense of security, while the interior reception area exuded timeless charm with its elegant wooden finishes reminiscent of a classic library. The bathroom facilities, including the shower and bidet, were of excellent quality and added to the overall sense of refinement. The apartment felt like our own little retreat within the city — a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and tranquility. Although we did not meet the staff in person, their thoughtful communication and attention to detail made us feel genuinely cared for. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone seeking a stylish and comfortable stay in Bologna.

The only minor inconvenience was that the room could have used slightly better soundproofing, as occasional street noise was noticeable at night.

Loved Bologna and got a great rest between days of wandering and wondering.

The bed and linen were excellent. The location was exceptionally good, very close to a market, the centre of Bologna, and there's a very nice little bar across the street.

There is some inconvenience attached to the separate shared bathroom. That's bearable. But I really think there should be some signage on the bathroom door.

Clean, comfortable and centrally located!

Located centrally within easy walking distance to Piazza Maggiore, Basilica di San Petronio, Fontana del Nettuno, Torre dell’Arengo and other historical sites. Also nearby to Mercato delle Erbe - a lovely indoor market with local produce, worth checking out. Clean and comfortable accomodation with friendly and accommodating staff. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend.

Lovely room. Quirky and classy. Spotlessly clean. Fabiola and staff were friendly and welcoming.

The separate bathroom. But, the bathroom itself was for our use only and the actual bathroom facilities were excellent. I would not be put off by this.

Great location!

The location was excellent and the room decore was adorable. It was spacious and the bathroom shower was great. I read some reviews that commented on the noise but we didn’t have any issues and I’m a light sleeper. Fabiola was very comunicative and a great host. I didn’t realize when I had booked the room that it was one large bed and an external bathroom. When we arrived and I introduced my son, they immediately offered a different room and separated the beds, which was very much appreciated. I’d stay here again.

The beds were a bit firm for me but otherwise ok.

Great location, a few minutes away from the old town. Easy, flexible check in. Modern bathroom. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Beautiful balcony. Coffee and tees included. Good air con. Small fridge for any snacks or drinks you want to store.

Overall, a good place to stay.

The bed was comfy and the check-in and check-out were easy. The location was great as it was close to the sights. The lift was a plus. We enjoyed the coffee and treats and the daily cleaning.

Air-conditioning wasn't really powerful and sometimes didn't work, sometimes it did. There was quite a lot of noise from the street and clubs nearby until late (2am), so it wasn't really possible to leave the window open to cool the room.

Room very nicely presented. Very clean. Quite a good location.

Room was very small. Didn't like the step down within the room. (Health & safety issues). Shower was good bit took a while to figure it out. Did not like that the host never made an appearance to welcome us. Also big bed but hard. I like a hard bed, but limited support in the matress ther

Good value

The guest house is in a nice building, in the historic centre of Bologna. There are only 5 rooms, all very cute. We had a room with a little balcony on which we enjoyed our morning espresso. The bed was comfortable. Great communication with Fabiola, checking was smooth. Lots of restaurants around. 16 min walk from the train station, 8 min from Piazza Maggiore.

I enjoyed the accommodation overall

The owner/staff was very friendly and responsive. It's super centrally located. I also liked how tasteful the interior design was.

The pictures make the facility look slightly more modern than it actually is. I like the building & room. Just think that it is better to present things as truthfully as possible. Not saying that it's done intentionally though. It's normal for things to look somewhat different than the pictures. Also, not sure it was mentioned that the private bathroom was outside of the bedroom. If it was, my bad that I didn't pay attention. If it wasn't, better to mention it explicitly so that the expectation is managed properly. I didn't mind it but would have preferred knowing it prior to my arrival.

Great place to stay in Bologna!

First of all, Fabiola welcomed us very warm. It was a nice guesthouse on the same floor. Each room has different concept and decorated very nice. The rooms were really clean and there were coffee and snacks which was renewed everyday. The only thing maybe was missing was breakfast as we were with children but they recommended a really nice local breakfast place. The guest house was really close to tourist attractions such as two towers, Bologna University, Piazza Maggiore etc. I really recommend this place for families and group of friends. Thank you for everything.

I would stay somewhere else if staying longer than 2-3 days. Location can’t be better though.

Excellent location. Noisy street. When the AC is on, you can close the windows and you can’t hear the noise. Very nice and responsive manager. Comfortable bed. No chest to put your things in. Several hooks to hang clothes on. Cleaning inadequate, and truly needs improvement.

Cleanliness, maybe a couple of real furniture pieces, room too small for the price. The street is noisy, but that can’t be helped.

The style, location, the privacy and the services. Although breakfast wasn’t included, the owner left me some gluten free cookies and cakes, since It wasn’t easy to find gluten free food in nearby coffee shops before heading to work .

I had weird neighbors, noisy with loud music at night and I couldn’t inform or complain to the owner of the property at 3 am.

Location very good and room decor lovely. Welcome bottle of wine appreciated and bowl of grapes. Linen and towels very good quality.

Noise every night in the early hours. No staff met at all and no emergency number we could see to contact if we needed support.
