Lovely property, but noisy

The couple who run this B&B are lovely, but speak no English. But, using our phone translators we were able to communicate quite well. The breakfasts were very good and the parking was fine.

We actually had to move half way through our planned stay as there was no air-conditioning and there was a heatwave with high humidity and not enough breeze at night to cool our room. There was a screen on our bedroom window, but none on the bathroom window, so we had some bug problems. Finally although the property is lovely and with a very well kept garden, the location was close to a factory which made a lot of noise and in the next door apartment house had what sounded like a young teenager who yelled at his parents for a long time on 2 nights. We were also unhappy with our bed in Room 1. The supporting frame did not keep the mattress level.

Great and Cozy Stay!

We loved the friendliness and helpfulness of Elisa, the house manager. We also loved how peaceful the neighborhood was. The rooms were so clean and the bathrooms looked recently renovated. Not to mention, breakfast was always delicious and plentiful. All in all it was a great and cozy stay. We are thankful to have stayed here!

Location was good but it is very hard to find. Nice room and beautiful bathroom.

They need a sign to indicate where it is. I had to ring as we didn't know how to get in. The gentleman was very friendly and advised us on a very nice place to eat but the lady at breakfast was not engaging at all. We felt quite awkward. The light in the room came on every time you moved in that direction - very annoying in the middle of the night.

It was our best place to experience on Booking.com.

The owners of the place were incredibly good hearted and helpful people. We were greeted with more interest than we hoped. The place was super clean. Since we went to three people, they provided two rooms for one room rate. They made us a barbecue for dinner. And they offered vegetables and fruit from their gardens. Before leaving, they gave us the vegetable seeds they used in the garden. It was a super experience. :) :)

Capodanno a Perugia in famiglia

La camera e le parti comuni sono curate, l’ambiente è caldo e accogliente. Bellissimo il giardino e comodo il parcheggio interno. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e ti fanno sentire a casa. Molto cortese e disponibile la signora che ci ha preparato le colazioni.

Senza che questo influisca sul giudizio più che positivo, potrebbe essere utile un riassetto almeno parziale della camera e del bagno.

Tutto perfetto

Mi è piaciuto tutto. Bella casa indipendente con ampio giardino intorno. Possibilità di parcheggiare all'interno. Stanza ampia, calda e confortevole. Bagno nuovo, moderno e con tutto il necessario. Colazione ai livelli di un hotel. Posizione facile da raggiungere ed a pochi chilometri da Perugia. Il proprietario che ci ha accolto è stato molto gentile e anche la signora che ci ha preparato la colazione al mattino.

Se vuoi andare a casa tua ma lontano da casa, Il Girasole è il posto giusto! Tutto super curato, pulitissimo, arredato con gusto, letti comodissimi, gentilezza e tanta disponibilità. Ci ritornerò sicuramente. I bambini erano entusiasti e mi hanno chiesto se quella poteva diventare casa nostra!! :-)
