Our stay was everything we could have wished for a quiet and characterful experience of the beautiful Welsh countryside.

Rustic charm, spacious, thoughtfully and generously appointed with kitchen equipment, books and maps, fair-trade bathroom products etc, beautiful and quiet garden/orchard setting, warm and welcoming host.

Minor issue but having to hand hold shower rose was a bit tricky!

Fantastic! A 10 out of 10!

The property was very clean, well appointed, with new appliances and everything you could possibly need to feel at home! The host Gill, was very welcoming, friendly and went over and above to ensure we had everything we needed to have an enjoyable and restful stay, whilst at the same time providing us with total privacy. Booking instructions and other geographical, sightseeing and local facilities information was provided. There were more than ample, towels, pillows, kitchen utensils etc and the location was very close to some beautiful running trails, walkways, a train station, supermarkets and other user friendly visitor services. Gill's Loft is as described a 'Seren' place to stay and one that we would highly recommend to anyone who is wanting a superior, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. (Thank you Gill for making our visit one we will remember for the rest of our lives........ 🙂)

A beautiful home from home

Super comfortable and well equipped! All the products provided were environmentally friendly- from the toilet paper and tissues(Who Gives a Crap), to toiletries, to household products, to wonderfully clear recycling bins. We were delighted with our hostess‘ commitment to minimising our environmental damage, by her anticipation of our every need and her kindness and thoughtfulness. Everywhere, inside and outside, was a visual delight. And everything was spotless.

Rural location in a homely loft conversion that had everything we needed for our stay

When we arrived it was nearly dark, pouring with rain and Gill came rushing out of her house with an umbrella and helped us carry our luggage up the steps to Seren Loft. She was friendly and made sure we had all we needed.

Great stay , so much so we can't wait to come back

What a lovely place to stay with our little family. We had a lovely time taking in some of the local scenery and some activities a little further afield with our 2 and 5 year olds. Couldn't ask anymore of our host and the loft we stayed in . Would have stayed longer if we had the time and will be definitely coming back . Mark

Lovely cottage in the stunning Welsh countryside. Five mins walk to railway station. All facilities worked fine, were able to use washing machine downstairs. Hostess was super friendly and helpful beforehand and on arrival. Thank you very much!

We have stayed in a few different properties around the area when visiting family in Wales and Seren Loft is by far the best one we have stayed in! Gill was so friendly and accommodating and the loft was so cosy we absolutely loved it and were sad to leave. We will definitely be rebooking when we next come to visit family!

Motorbike friendly fantastic find ! ♥️

What a gem! Seren loft was perfect for all of our needs. Gill was super friendly and helpful and has created a lovely space to enjoy the Brecons and beautiful Wales. Clean, comfortable, quirky and very well equipped, the loft was a perfect stay over for our motorbiking weekend and we could even house our treasured bikes overnight in the garage space underneath. Highly recommend staying here and will return on our next Welsh adventure.

Amazing and would 100% stay again.

Absolutely fabulous place! The loft was quiet and beautiful. The log burner was fabulous at warming the place up. The kitchen was fully fitted for us to cook for ourselves. It was private and the bed was lovely the bathroom had a wonderful bath and the area was close to cynhordy viaduct for a great walk. The property was easy to find and the host Gill was great with communication.

Perfect getaway accommodation

I cannot express enough how perfect the stay was, the host greeted me immediately on arrival and when leaving, the fire was set up ready to go and everything was immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked and felt like a home away from home. Particularly enjoyed the log fire on a winter night so cannot recommend highly enough will be telling all friends and family.

It was self catering which suited us location was excellent for our needs very well equipment property and very friendly host

Bedroom door creaked which was a problem when one of us got up in the night, as shower was hand held this was more difficult then normal

Beautiful loft, in the middle of nowhere. The entire loft was decked out beautifully and was very well equipped - including enough logs and twigs to keep the wood burner going all day (helpful considering the weather we experienced).

The weather, but that wasn't Gill's fault 🤣
