A perfect home from home and a great base to explore the Carmarthenshire countryside.

We spent the weekend in Llandovery visiting family. We wanted to stay somewhere with some home comforts and this property did not disappoint. We arrived late at night so the milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and homemade tiffin left out for us was perfect. The owners have included everything you could possibly think you need. Fresh eggs from the hens clucking around the farm was also a lovely breakfast treat. The beds are very comfortable and the view was beautiful. I definitely give it a 5 star review.

Unique property for holiday stay. Hidden gem.

Unique property in a unique location. Felt homely, with a lot of attention to decor detail. Well stocked with essentials. Host very welcoming and enjoys caring for the animals, animals were well-socialised and well-behaved.

We found the ship's ladder stairs were daunting. If there is anything to improve it would be to update the double bed in the downstairs bedroom.

A tastefully converted Milking Parlour with excellent thoughtful hosts, stunning views and a peaceful location.

We had a really lovely stay here. The Milking Parlour was beautifully furnished and decorated and Rachael was an excellent and thoughtful host. My daughters and their friend really enjoyed feeding the angora goats, lambs and the pigs. It was a shame to have to leave.

Home from home with a little history

From the moment I arrived, I felt at home, relaxing, quaint, and stunning location . The let had everything you could need from a comfortable stay , all the amenities along with quirkiness of being an old milking parlour . - comfortable beds - clean and sizable bathroom (shower is a great size ) - kitchen with all the appliances you could need to cook up a storm - TV, entertainment boardgames , books , outdoor space a peaceful time away from ipads and computers (WiFi available ) but don't tell the kids Beautiful home produced eggs for breakfast made for a fantastic protein boost before my hikes ... I won't lie I ate them all ! Your hosts are friendly and full off knowledge and guidance and made me feel so welcome .

It is a single track to the let but I didn't encounter any issues with oncoming traffic and the views along it as the sun comes up and goes down is all you will be thinking about

Comfortable, beautifully decorated, warm, practical, and easy for a stay with a baby in a stunning location. Mark and Rachael had thought of everything, and even left us some delicious goodies on arrival. Communication was great as well.

A very cosy, comfortable and beautiful stay.

The kitchen was well stocked with items and the bed and couch were very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious and the accomodation was beautifully decorated.

There could have been some larger frying pans, as there was only one large pot available.

Amazing relaxing stay

Amazing property, clean and beautiful. Children absolutely loved it - they had their own child size room, there were some toys and children books and all those lovely animals. They found some eggs in the chicken houses. We ate them too :) What a marvelous event for those 2 city urchins! Beautiful location in the heart of welsh countryside.

All the attention to detail - it has everything you could need - a home away from home. Our children enjoyed the chickens, pigs, cats and dog. Very sweetly made chocolate brownies and left us eggs and milk we could use.

Beautiful views near the cottage. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, they provided fresh eggs, milk etc. The children loved the animals and were allowed to feed them which made their day! All in all a very successful and comfortable stay. Totally recommend this accommodation.

Although there was a lovely sitting-out area, perhaps in future they could provide a run-around area for younger holiday-makers.

Wonderful holiday in a cosy, peaceful cottage on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.

Thank you Rachael and Mark for a wonderful stay! The cottage was really comfortable and the perfect base for us to explore the Brecon Beacons. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was lovely to have fresh eggs for breakfast from your hens. Amazing surroundings in peaceful countryside, would highly recommend and we hope to return!

Beautifully decorated, well-equipped cottage, which was warm and cozy. Surrounded by rolling hills and picturesque countryside. Comfortable beds, clean as a pin. Photos do not it justice. Rachael and Mark were very welcoming and friendly. Left us delicious welcome cakes, fresh eggs from their hens, bottled water, milk, tea and coffee. Loved the animals, the Cockerells are full of character, made us laugh. My daughter loved the 3 Trotters, the kittens and Bonny their puppy! Cannot fault this peaceful little gem, will definitely be returning! 100% recommend!!

beautiful property with such attention to detail and lovely touches like fresh homemade cake on arrival and a lovely welcome. towels were amazingly soft, beds, pillows, duvets so comfortable! perfect little home!

The only drawback was the narrow roads to the property as they made it a little tricky but it won’t deter us from returning!
