Very welcoming and friendly host, and the room was super comfortable !

After we arrived with our bicycles, the host asked if we had made arrangements for dinner. Since we did not, she asked if it was okay if she would prepare us some dinner with 'left overs' she still had in her kitchen. This was a very welcoming gesture and the food she served was really excellent !

A truly exceptional place to stay.

Like everything else about La Petite Oie, the breakfast was exceptional with a variety of fruit juices, homemade bread and jams, pancakes, croissants etc.

I can't think of a single thing that needed to be improved. The host was friendly and thoughtful as well as attentive, and interesting in explaining the the industry and processes of weaving illustrated in pictures around the wall and objects like the spinning wheel in the room. A truly remarkable find, and located between the Roche d'Oetre and the pretty village of Pont D'Ouilly.

Very gracious and attentive host, in a very comfortable gite.

Annie was a most gracious host, allowing us to use extra facilities (this was our third attempt to visit). Rooms were like new, and very comfortable, We enjoyed Annie's baking at breakfast time before setting off for the sites and sights of the Suisse Normande.

Gite is on the unexpected side of a one-way street, which confused us initially, but was soon resolved when we rang Annie.

Everything we could wish for

This accommodation was superb. Everything was to the highest standards, the room, decor, facilities which included extras such as bath robes and toiletries. The breakfast was exceptional with a huge choice including home made pancakes brioche and pastries. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant recommendation was excellent and well worth a visit (L'Océane). Very tasty food at reasonable price

Annie and Didier are the perfect hosts. They made our stay comfortable, they are very friendly and Didier very generously gave us lifts to and from the wedding were in France to attend and to a restaurant the following day in his amazing 2CV. Annie provided us with home cooked treats which were delicious. Accommodation is large, characterful and extremely clean with every facility you could wish for. The area is very rural, quiet and charming. We had a fantastic break and we already have plans to return.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming and we felt very comfortable at La Petite Oie. The property is beautifully furnished and the bed is the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The breakfast was wonderful and full of home made delights. The home made yogurt is particularly delicious. The best thing about La Petite Oie is the lovely location and its setting in a quiet area. We had a peaceful night and a long deep sleep. La Petite Oie is a great place and very good value for money. Hoping to come back soon one day.
