Venice is a unique place to stay.

The location was great. There was plenty of space for our group of 5. There extra bedding came in handy. The washer and drying facilities were lovely.

It was very noisy in the apartment from outside and within the apartment complex. The cleanliness seemed surface clean not deep down. The refrigerator was about frozen shut-needs a defrost.

Good location with ease of access.

The location was good and it was out of the way. We liked that there was extra blankets because it was chilly at night. Showers were good with enough hot water.

Some of the pillows were uncomfortable. The walls were thin and it was loud from the apartments below and above us as well as street noise.

Wonderful introduction to Venice, we must return!

Lots of space for three-generations. The beds were quite comfortable, plenty of windows for fresh air, nice shower with hot water. We loved the location, very local and quiet, easy walk to vaporetto stop, a couple of nice piazzas with great cafes and bars close by. The host is very accommodating and kind! Helpful with requests and recommendations. Excellent communication.

My mother-in-law had a hard time with the steep staircase leading to the apartment. Everything else was great!

The Hatter's Venice apartment

Quirky but comfortable accommodation with everything you need. Close to bars/restaurants and shops as well as a water bus stop and very safe to walk home at night. Loved it.

The apartment is on the 1st floor and there is no lift. Challenging with heavy bags for older people but it in no way detracted from our superb stay in Venice.

Great stay!

Great location near a water bus stop. Everybody slept really well here and we also enjoyed having extra power converters offered by the property. Overall, Venice was my family's favorite city in Italy and it starts with where we stayed!

Needed extra sheets for our son that slept on the sofa. We used the comforter off of our bed for him.

Exceptional

Excellent apartment with 3 separate bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a lounge. Kitchen was well equipment. Air-conditioning was most welcomed..all rooms had ac and individual remotes. Close to the square with great restaurants cafes and supermarket. Nice to have mosquito replenant plugs provided. I'd definitely stay here again. This was my 5th time to Venice and this apartment was the quietest I have stayed in with both wood shutters and glass windows. Communication from the host was very good

Great apartment in a great location

Lovely apartment with character in a great location. Affordable bars and cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Water taxi stop around the corner and you can be sailing down the Grand Canal in minutes. Lots of space for our family, the second bathroom was a real bonus. Would happily return if coming back to Venice.

We loved staying in this part of Venice, close to the vaporetto and walking distance to the train station. The washing machine was an unexpected bonus! So was the hair drier.

One bedroom had a cigarette smoke odor -- perhaps coming from another apartment? The other two bedrooms were just fine.

Everything. Big apartment, well placed and easy to find, excellent communication. The drinks in the fridge were a friendly start. There were some good and cheap restaurants within a few minutes walk and a local supermarket.

Would be nice to have a knife in the cutlery drawer to spread butter on bread. The shower curtain was clingy. It's difficult to find anything else I didn't like.

Great apartment in perfect location

Great location in a lovely part of Venice. Good choice of nice places to eat and drink plus supermarkets nearby if wanting to self-cater. Apartment spacious and well equipped. Airport boat service drops off very close to the apartment too.

Maybe a couple of chairs in the sitting room would be nice in addition to the large sofa-bed

We were satisfied with the accommodations at The Hatter's.

Although it was difficult to find the apartment, the location was a bonus. The apartment was clean.

The directions when we were in the squares close to the apartment were confusing. We had a young student who resided in the area help us on the street and even she had a difficult time finding it. A guide with more information on local restaurants and amenities would be helpful.
