We stopped by Pisa for only one night and arrived pretty late. The hosts were SO accomodating and met us at the front door, showed us the apartment and how to use the various keys. They even kept the cafe downstairs open a little later so we could have a quick dinner after our flight. Exceptional hospitality! The room was very comfy-- clean, fluffy bedding and pillows. The beds were very comfortable. It was chilly outside and the room was also nice and warm, which we appreciated. We were 2 adults and 2 kids, and having a Queen bed with 2 twin beds, was such a nice set up. The location felt very safe, and it is literally steps away from the Tower of Pisa, which was the main attraction we were there to see. We were sad to leave after only 1 night, but really enjoyed our stay at Il Cardinale. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

This was the perfect spot to explore the city and I don’t think you can stay closer to the tower! The room is spacious with a comfy bed and plenty of storage, the bathroom has a bath with shower over. My room was on the second floor (there’s a lift) and it’s in a secure apartment block, so I felt safe as a solo traveller.
The cafe downstairs is very handy for breakfast and serve good local fare in the evenings. Sylvia is a most welcoming and helpful host. I walked from the station, stopping for lunch on the way by the river, and Sylvia booked a taxi to the airport whic cost €20.
It was all good and I would stay here again.

The tower is so close, but just out of the hectic, tourist area, which was great to come back to and relax. We felt super safe and the beds were very comfortable. We were a familt of 4 and had enough space. The cafe downstairs was wonderful and good value. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall experience. Thank you for an awesome stay in Pisa!!!
