Games room with ¾-sized billiards table, table football, air hockey and coin-operated tumble dryer (shared with other properties on-site). Courtyard with garden furniture. Courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue (shared). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a stream in the grounds, 400 yards away.. These two holiday cottages are set in a glorious, rural location, adjacent to the owner’s home and with the benefit of a well-equipped games room. A short distance away is South Molton, full of fine Georgian buildings, shops and a market every Thursday and Saturday. Within easy reach is a sandy beach at Instow, and there are sands and surfing waves at Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe. Visit the market towns of Barnstaple and Bideford, whose quayside offers regular boat crossings to Lundy Isle. To the north lies gorgeous Exmoor National Park, with the famed resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth which are joined by a cliff railway. There are National Trust properties at Knightshayes Court and Arlington Court. The area offers trips out for the cyclist - follow the Tarka Trail or the coastal path from Barnstaple to Braunton. Hire cycles at Barnstaple or Eggesford. Shop and restaurant 4 miles, pub serving food 2 miles.
