If you're going to bed early ask for a room not directly above the bar area.

the breakfast

the room with a view as i paid for didn't have one. nowhere near anywhere. nothing to do . windows were blown so couldn't see out. tiny fridge not big enough.

Lovely place for a weekend break.

Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely big comfy room. Dinner in the restaurant was so good. Location was great for visiting my sister in South Molton. Would definitely stay there again.

Did the job as a stopover on route to Cornwall. We'd use it again on future trips.

We made use of the evening meal facility (tired after driving all day) and the full English breakfast was very good. The location was ideal to break our journey down to Perranporth. We were given an upstairs room (very clean) adjacent to a fire escape which provided ideal access for taking our dog out for its late night walk!

A map from reception showing the route of the "on site" dog walk would have been helpful. We were only there for one night so it wasn't a real problem, but it would have been a nice touch which would have saved me stumbling around the site in the the dark with a torch, looking for it!

Mixed feelings

Food & cleanliness were good. Food very impressive & good value. Nice to have bar on site. Nice areas to walk the dog It was warm once found out how to turn on fire & heating. Changing the accommodation was easy & lady on the phone was very helpful Good to have 2 bedrooms due to snoring husband ( and dog!!) Shower was good. About 20 minute walk into south molten.

Originally booked an apartment but changed to a static as thought would be better for dog. Booking .com didn't update this so we didn't realise that we didn't have towels provided. I trued to rent some but that wasn't available. Luckily the shop had a couple that were left over from summer & I bought two. The small single beds were uncomfortable, even though I'm a small adult. Could do with better mattresses. The blind in the kitchen is broken and not able to be used. Just touching it, it falls to pieces. Hand soap in the bathroom would have been helpful. There were no details as to how to use the TV, fire or heating . No details regarding the site, facilities etc in the caravan so if you arrive after reception has closed you are pretty much in the dark. We were visiting family in south Molton but I don't know why else you would stay at Riverside. .

Excellent site. Staff, food, facilities were all brilliant.

Everything is decorated to a high standard and everything is spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and efficient and very hard working. The entertainment was good. The grounds of the park are beautiful and very clean. Food in this he club house is excellent and very good value. Just off the A361 so very easy to get to.

I would have preferred a king size bed that was a bit softer.

Visiting friends

Really spacious room with very welcome air con. Spotlessly clean with more than enough towels for our stay. We didn't do breakfast as we were visiting friends nearby so ate with them. We did do an evening meal which was excellent. This will be our go to place when next this way.

Great mini break with fishing

The accommodation is excellent value for money and the food was lovely. All the staff are very helpful and welcoming. We had a fabulous 4 day break

The only problem we found was that there are no toilet facilities on the fishing lakes. Could we suggest maybe you putting a portable toilet in the vicinity of the fishing lakes please.

This was a good place for accommodation but not for eating ?

No Breakfast ready 9 Oclock Monday morning on the day of our departure had to wait as nobody serving or taking orders ? And it was greasy when it was brought to table.

very peacefull and relaxing..

Had breakfast included in booking, just gave room number in resturant and had anything you wanted on menu from cerials,to large cooked english ,or anything on request,. Perfect to choose .orange juice and tea/coffee in with price ,. next time we will try carvery which is popular and have to pre order due to being used by neighbours/off park .

Beautiful Place

Beautiful room, excellent very friendly and courteous staff & lovely fishing lakes. Great facilities and wonderful food. We will definitely be visiting again, highly recommended.

Children not under supervision running around Dining room, coming up to our table which was very annoying when we were trying to eat our meals. This was not a fault of the complex but of the parents.
