Disappointed

Location and staff. Even with the negatives my family and I still managed to enjoy the break.

Caravan was barely clean in poor condition. Only 3 stalls for dinner table. Sofa missing wood between seat cushion and sofa bed meaning the long side of the sofa really uncomfortable. Some of the walls had holes in them. No marking on parking bays meant that most evenings I was having to park away from my caravan.

Paid for WiFi reasonable cost n fast enough. Location great so can walk to beach

Arrived, unpacked and made beds. Oven didn't work. Spent 90 mins moving to another caravan No help offered or compensation (later asked for complimentary drinks n got). New oven worked but not grill. No repairs carried out.

Nice staff.

Dirty and almost everything was broken. Bedroom window didn't close properly so was kept awake by noise and wind every night. Kitchen had an unlockable fire door with dangerous stairs leading down three stories. Nightmare with children! No warning of this when booking. There was a spare key to our room hanging in the broken open fire box outside the room so anyone could have access any time. Water temperature didn't go above luke warm so we couldn't wash properly the entire week.

Good accommodation in a lovely part of Devon and we would come again

Wonderful location. Superb views. Quiet camp and this suited us. Young families might want more entertainment but it was perfect for us. Lots of places to visit nearby, Ilfracombe, Lynton, Lynmouth, Valley of the Rocks. Also nearby a Dinosaur/wildlife park and Watermouth Castle...plus lots more.

Lovely staff. Wouldnt stay again

Not a lot. The staff were nice and allowed me a late check out as I was at a funeral very early

The caravan was so small we couldn't unpack our clothes. No way it could have six people . They wouldn't have anywhere to put their clothes either. No room to prepare food It was the smallest caravan I have ever seen.The TV didn't allow you to watch anything other than a few channels. No towels. No bath mat. No onsite facilities other than a very small bar and unheated swimming pool. Nothing for kids. They were Kind enough to let me have the late check out because of a funeral not did not communicate that with the cleaners.

Just what we needed, quiet and relaxing, in a beautiful location.

Nice quiet location with lovely views of the Devonshire countryside. The campsite was spotless, the sea views were stunning and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Filthy not what I thought I'd booked

The caravan was not the same as the one on the website, I had asked for a dog friendly caravan on the website and rang the site to pay my £30 for the dog they did not tell me i would not be getting the caravan on the website.The one we were given was dirty and had no sitting out space. The microwave should have been condemned it was full of rust and dirty. The net curtains were ancient and filthy. There was stains all over the furniture and the curtains were coming off the track. There was trunking in the middle of the floor, which was 2 separate colours that was a trip hazard and we both got bitten. The bedding for the single beds was for a double. The site is extremely hilly and steep.We stayed 2 nights and it was that bad I booked another caravan 2 hours away in Cornwall. I will not be returning or recommending this site.

Fantastic family holiday, peaceful park and lovely staff all round

Quiet park, but you can walk up to the sister park about 1/2 mile up the road where they have really good entertainment for all. The staff were very polite and helpful in all areas, the location is perfect, the caravan facilities were really good

A lovely short break.we will definitely be returning .

We stayed in the bog standard caravan. I was not expecting much but it was lovely. Nice big bathroom, tv, in the double bedroom and even a walk in wardrobe. You have to make your own beds up but as we were only there for 4 nights we took our own pillows and sleeping bags. Beds were comfy. The staff were lovely and the couple of problems we had someone was there to sort them out within a minute.

Had to reset the boiler every time we wanted the heating on or to use the hot water.

Location good dog friendly chalets need lots of attention

The property was in very poor condition all round . It was suppose to be dog friendly and it was not only the old furniture was . Garden was not fenced off all open so not dog friendly. Furniture was all old and disgusting in the chalet not everyone with dogs are bad owners and let there dogs run riot some off us have dogs and want to stay in nice places to with our dogs .

We had a great time with family and good value for money.

beyond what we expected. we booked via booking.com and expected a very basic caravan and very pleasantly 2 bedroom caravan with central heating. caravan was in mint condition. There was no dirt or mark anywhere in caravan. kitchen was also very clean and well maintained. The location is what makes this place so special. Car park next to caravan. swimming pool is great and have out door kids play area. I highly recommend this place.

Loved the location, the views were amazing all along the coast 🥰 Was very hilly, brilliant for a walk in all directions from the caravan, woodland walks or into the small village or coastal or beech walks, amazing views. This is may this year so weather was great for two days which was good too.

the reception had lovely sea views.

we were supposed to have paid for a gold standard caravan, yet the lounge bed was broken, the main bedroom had a saggy mattress, which was changed but to a mattress that didn’t fit the bed frame. there was a dirty duvet in the cupboard, the crockery was also dirty.

The food in the premises wasn't great and it was over priced, the beds were springy, but other then that everything was amazing in the park.
