I wouldn’t recommend this place

location is decent and the views are absolutely lovely, which is a shame because with some improvements this could be a fantastic place to stay. Sadly, it just didn’t meet expectations this time.

unfortunately, it wasn’t the best experience. The caravan itself was not clean on arrival, which set the tone for the stay. The beds were just about average in comfort, and the whole place felt very run down — this included the pool area, which definitely needs some TLC. Overall, the site has a tired feel and could do with a thorough update and better maintenance.

Most accommodation isn't pet friendly.

Wanted a nice couples get away with the dogs. Only a few units are pet friendly, so what we initially booked wasn't pet friendly. You only know this one payment goes through and it's buried in the email terms and conditions. We accepted some more simple accomodation, but it wasn't what we were after unfortunately. Will be extra careful booking pet friendly on booking.com. Also, the TV isn't a smart TV, so very limited channels.

Great site with basic vans

The van was very basic and in places disappointing but The site was very tidy. Having a fridge, freezer and microwave was good. A dishwasher was lovely to have. Everything worked.

We had a broken mirror and rusty hob. The bed was very uncomfortable with a plastic cover. No fitted sheet just a flat sheet which didn’t stay on the bed and slid off.

The location and accommodation were superb. The facilities on site were great and the staff very friendly (particularly Olly).

Could have done with more hangers in the accommodation and a bath mat.

We stayed here for a long weekend and would definitely recommend and more than likely be back for a longer stay. The views and locations of this holiday park are brilliant and the park itself has good facilities, entertainment and just a nice feel to it. Any small negatives we had were all nit picking, comfort of beds, food etc. nothing that was unbearable or in any way negatively affected our holiday.

Beds slightly uncomfortable and food was a bit expensive for what it was but as I mentioned they were minor issues and did not affect the quality of our stay.

Brilliant dog friendly stay in a beautfiul property, we would definitely come

Hideaway accommodation was fantastic, very modern and it felt luxurious. The enclosed terrace was great for on an evening. We loved our stay here!

Unfortunately, the view from the hideaway (number 40) was obscured by a caravan directly infront of the terrace. It appeared that many of the hideaway accommodation faced this issue. This was disappointing, as instead of looking out onto the sea, we looked directly into our neighbours living room! It didn’t spoil our stay though as we could view the sea from other areas of the park.

The views were breathtaking, I've yet to go into a chalet so clean, we enjoyed the swimming pool and the facilities

You need steps for the older generation to get in and out of the pool, as I was restricted

Pleasant stay

The entertainment staff and activities were really good- karaoke, disco, Marzipan pand. The pool was great and the Combe Martin beach is stunning so picturesque.

Stained sheets, hairy sofa, uncleaned behind the sofa (chips and crayons), kitchen staff very rude!

I didn’t like the fact that I paid more for the so called ‘gold caravan’ it was very standard and not as I thought it would be it was basically a normal caravan

A lovely park with beautiful sea views.

A beautiful setting, with great sea views. The caravan was clean. I liked the barbecue area.

The caravan had a small bedroom and it had no sea view as stated in the booking. Check in process was too long, the accommodation wasn’t ready until well after 4pm.

A lovely holiday park with stunning views

Beautiful and well maintained accommodation. We had a Hideaway retreat and two Gold caravans in our booking and all were in great condition and spotless.

The lady who does the cooking at the Clubhouse is unbelievably rude and obnoxious. She speaks to customers and staff like they're a huge inconvenience to her and is generally just unpleasant

Perfect as a base for the SW Coast Path

Location perfect for exploring the SW Coast Path with a bus stop right outside the park which itself was situated on the path. The swimming pool was a bonus. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The park was well maintained as was the caravan.

It was good value and we had a wonderful time in the local area but it definitely needs a revamp

I loved the comfiness of the beds and I loved the local area. The staff were all lovely. The view was great.

The park was nothing like I expected it to be. The chalet smelt musty, most of the arcade machines were broken, the pool is far smaller than it seems in the pictures and needed a clean. If you don’t drink there doesn’t seem to be much to do on site.

hideaway chalets are great, mezz bedroom is a nice touch although did get warm. location great and views stunning

kids rugby tour on, so lits of noise late, around 10pm from playback, the kids knocking chalet doors and running away.

The site is in a beautiful position with views of the sea and cliffs, the staff were amazing especially the entertainment staff, they were always up for a laugh and made you feel welcome,the caravan was well presented with everything you need

Upstairs wasn’t clean, went to make the beds up there and found sweet wrappers and a baby bell wax cover and wrapper next to the window, it is small up there but cleaners should of cleaned it

loved the location no wifi so we get to have proper family time while we are inside the property.

Beautiful location

We had a gold caravan, there was patched up work done to the door handles, crumbs left in the cupboards from the previous guests, a stain on one of the bedsheets, if you moved the cushions on the sofas to pull out the bed in the living room there was old food in between the cushions, the dishwasher was turned off under the sink at the back and we thought it was broken so if you do stay just be mindful to check that it’s switched on. I just think for it to be classed as a gold caravan I expected better quality, the signal on the tv was practically non existent and you have to buy a WiFi package for your stay to get any connection in the accommodation. I was aware before we visited you don’t get WiFi in the caravan but just know you do have to pay for it during your stay if you want it and you can connect upto 10 devices but games consoles won’t connect to it as there’s no way to put in the code on the console. The entertainment staff were amazing and very funny, the kids loved it. The food could be better as I found it to be extremely expensive for the quality, the kids brownies are shop bought little cakes with a tiny bit of ice cream. The quality of the meat on the breakfast is very poor, the sausages are tasteless. The chilli was full of hard bits, the food overall is just not nice at all. We stayed Monday to Friday and I would love to go again, but more needs to be done in regards to the food and the cleanliness. It really does let down such a beautiful place to spend your holiday. On the day we left I did notice a strong smell of old alcohol on one of the ladies (I think she was a cleaner) when I gave the keys in and I didn’t like that someone came to work like that around children. If these little things could be sorted out it would be a dream place to visit with those views.

Terrible worst stay ever.

Leaving ...

Dirty bed linen, didn't get the caravan we selected.. Site was not expecting us due to booking.com error apparently.. There was a lot of mould in the toilet cubicles, which we took photos of ... no where to park next to caravan so we had to carry all our luggage quite a distance, despite being registered disabled. Pubic hairs in multiple places. Dirty dusty shelves. No free WiFi.
