Classic old property, good value, has a few minor challenges you expect from a 500yr old bldg

Great location, very interesting place to stay, good value for the money.

This is a very old building and comes with all the challenges that come with its age. The floors can be uneven, there are sometimes no handrails where you might like them, and the WiFi is a bit weak.

The history and uniqueness of it. The Normandy museum on site was detailed and informative; we all spent at least two hours in there. Christine was welcoming and helpful, working with us to arrange a cab for pickup to the train station.

A little far from town but we knew that when we booked. And the property made up for it.

Such a beautiful property with a lovely relaxed feel. Great location to base yourself for visiting the D-day landing sites etc. The owners were lovely and helped with good tips on where best to eat and places to go. just fantastic.

very pleasant and the hostess goes out of her way to make your stay a very pleasant and comfortable one.

delightful centuries old building with lots of character. gives one the feeling of staying in the “real France 🇫🇷” it’s historic connections are very interesting. close proximity to town is very convenient and it is lovely to hear the peal of bells from the cathedral.

as someone with restricted mobility the stairs are a challenge.

the old house was beautiful and suited our two families

I didn’t even realized my booking included breakfast til I went to write the review. the hostess never mentioned that breakfast option was even a thing….It would have been WONDERFUL if she had told us. Now I’m disappointed we paid for it and it wasn’t even offered… I feel like we were taken advantage of… and that never feels good

House with history close to Bayeux

Place with a lot of history. There is an interesting small museum with lots of maps and pictures on the Invasion of Normandy and a very old chapel. Friendly host. There was a small problem in the kitchen but this was solved quickly. The beds are comfortable and the loft is really spacious. At walking distance from Bayeux. A really nice place which we highly recommend!

There is a big garden but it is not very well maintained. However the setting is so amazing that even in the current state we could really enjoy to sit outside and admire the property.

Exceptional

The manoir is divine and is being restored beautifully. Our trip to Bayeaux was designed around visiting the D Day Beaches and memorials. An amazing bonus of staying at this lovely manor, was the DDay Memorial Room in the loft of the barn. It has original maps, posters, vehicle and aircraft models and photographs we didn't see at the other memorials. Christine and Christoff are wonderful hosts and provided us with all the information we needed to get around to all the areas we wanted to see. The beds are comfortable and having the self contained kitchen was great. It would be perfect for large families.

Our amazing host was waiting for us when we arrived and helped us so much with our plans whilst there for the D Day 75th celebrations with all its' complications. Great location. 10 minute walk to the Cathedral. Stay couldn't have been better!
