The place is very accessible and is in the center of the old quarter. The place is spacious, view is fine. Loved the big window.

The aircon is not that cold

Bathroom: Quality of stainless steel hardware is excellent and water pressure is also very good. Good quality shampoo and bath gel, not some low quality products that you are sometimes offered. Kitchen is fully equipped with good quality pots and pans. Not overused ones that you usually see. Good cutlery and crockery too. Chimney works well. So does the stove. Linen white and fresh. Good cotton fabric with no static. Mattress is slightly on the harder side, but we prefer these to those super soft ones. Furniture is solid wood and very nicely crafted. There’s a large wardrobe for clothes. A long mirror which I loved. Both sides of the bed have bedside tables with lamps and working plug points. TV is small but works well. It has YouTube and Netflix. Wifi router is in the room itself. Overall it’s a robust place with everything in perfect working condition. The large wall size windows overlooking the charming street below was so dreamy. There’s a tree right in front of the window making it even prettier. There are two additional windows on the other wall of the room. So there’s plenty of cross ventilation. We did not miss a balcony at all. The ground floor has an optical shop which you have to pass through to reach the elevator. There’s a clear path across the shop to the elevator. There’s no ambiguity. Besides, the guys running the shop are so nice and friendly that you don’t feel awkward at all. The shop itself is lovely, very well kept. There’s location is outstanding! It’s close to everything. Despite being right at the heart of everything, it wasn’t loud. We slept well. We never took a scooter here (which we normally do). We got grab only twice during our stay to explore some faraway places and villages. We are full time travellers hence stay in many places. This definitely ranks in of our top choices!

The bathroom tiles could use an upgrade. Floor tiles are broken and also some wall tiles. That definitely needs replacing. Also the housekeeping staff were always in a hurry, and in need of some training I suppose, but I was there and ensured they did a proper cleaning so it was okay with us.

Good compact unit in a great location. Easy to check in and access through shop all good.

You can’t keep air con on when not on room and it gets very hot. You can see the lake through window but due to privacy with neighbours we kept blinds closed. Outdoor chairs on balcony would have been nice.

No breakfast facilities at the property

Towel’s were a little discoloured, the hand towel’s were wash cloth size. Only saw cleaning staff to exchange towels. We were on the tenth floor when the lift only went to floor nine so had to negotiate a winding staircase to the room with heavy luggage.
