The location of the property is outstanding. Walking distance to everything that suited us. The reception and door staff were very friendly, and the cleaning staff were lovely.

It was a bit old - outdated. Bathrooms need renovation

We were very satisfied with our stay at Old Hanoi Quarter Hotel and would happily recommend it to other travelers. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter, surrounded by hundreds of shops, restaurants, cafés, and local attractions. Hoan Kiem Lake is only about a one-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot. The area felt lively, safe, and perfect for sightseeing. What really made our stay special was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Doris, who was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional. Throughout our stay, all of the hotel staff were kind, attentive, and always willing to assist. We also greatly appreciated the service on our departure day. Although we had to check out at noon, the hotel stored our luggage for us and even arranged a shower in the evening before we boarded our overnight bus to Sapa. This level of care and hospitality made a big difference and was greatly appreciated. Overall, this hotel offers an outstanding location, excellent service, and genuinely caring staff. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose it again on our next visit to Hanoi.
