It’s was my 1st time to stay at a unit / flat instead of hotel.. We went to the office at a different location to check in early in the day. I was not informed or provided info what are not provided at the flat unit. We had 7 people & to stay 5 nights at the unit flat. The flat provided us with 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. The unit has 2 bathrooms. We used up the 1 roll of toilet paper from each bathroom. There were no soap or shampoo or conditioner at the unit. I contacted the office &was told I can go to the office during office hours to pick up the toilet paper. The office located approximately 20 mins by metro. We were there on vacation with itinerary daily. The next day we came back to flat & found the living window door hanging 1/2 loose. I contacted the office & was told some will fix it & will send toilet paper with the staff.. We came back that night, there was no toilet paper drop off & window door was not fixed. The same night the electricity went out in the unit ( No light, no warm water to shower, refrigerator food went bad, no AC). All 7 of us were not able to shower due to no hot water. Only 1 room light was working. I emailed the office again that night & the next early morning. No one came or contact me to fix or turn on the electric. Finally I was able to talk to someone in around noon . I communicated with him by WhatsApp FaceTime, he was able to walk me through how to turn the power breaker.The staff was very helpful at the office. Through out my entire stay no one drop of toilet paper for us. I know toilet paper didn’t cost much but it took out of our time to find the store to purchase toilet paper. Our itinerary was full we leave early morning & didn’t back to the unit late at night.

Despite the aerodrome problem after we arrived and had problem with organized taxi we expected the apartment to be cleaned until 16:00 , but when arrived at apartment Window was broken, we couldn’t close it. Everything was very dirty with hair everywhere. The kitchen door broken, there was no hair dryer. We wrote message and call for 3 days but nobody came to fix things. We had to clean and fix things all alone. Toilet paper and sanitary cleaning things was bought by our own and we cleaned the facility on our exit for the next guest

Staying in Paris, don’t book a flat

The location only

The building is very old The flat was dusty The rooms are very small The beds are not comfortable The check in procedure is very complicated ( non refundable rate, on line check in ) still I was asked to check in thru an office located in the center of Paris with no car parcking The idea of asking for a deposit in all France should not be accepted by Booking.com, even thu they are not insisting on it
