Located at 500 m. the station, near the banks of the Loire and 7 minutes walk from the city center and the castle, using the bridge of the island of gold, 'Atelier' is a 33 m² apartment located in an old building of the 19th century, displaying very nice benefits.
The apartment is ideally located to discover the city of Amboise "the beautiful Italian" and the castles of the "Loire Valley". Possibility of enjoying a real garden, with a space bordered by a palm tree, the tables invite you to relax. The interior is tastefully decorated (Florentin stucco walls) and offers all the benefits of modern comfort.
HD wall-mounted TV, wifi. Kitchen, dishwasher, ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, bar, and all well equipped. The essential cooking salt, sugar, oil, vinegar, coffee, tea etc ... are at your disposal.
The bathroom is original with a large rain shower, a vanity unit and a toilet. For convenience, a washing machine and dryer will allow you to leave "clean"!

Ideal property in great location: Station, Aldi, Boulangerie, Bus stop all within short walking distance. Amboise centre and chateaus just 10minutes walk away across 2 bridges over beautiful Loir river. Secure parking is great too as it’s difficult and expensive to park in Ambois. Hosts: Philippe & Marie were charming and helpful.

The property has an excellent location: a 5-minute walk from the train station (but no noise can be heard), and +/- 10-minute walk to the city centre and chateau. The Carrefour grocery store is also in the centre, just across the Loire River bridges. The kitchen is very modern, well-equippped with generous supplies of spices and cutlery, as well as the bathroom. Beautiful courtyard garden, and I got a very warm welcome from Philippe, the host, even though I was a little early arriving. You won’t regret your stay here, and there’s ample parking if you’re driving.

This efficiency apartment was great for a couple. The layout works well and we had plenty of room in the apartment with access to a washer and dryer and a lovely garden. The host is friendly and attentive. The also apartment comes with a secure place to park a car. The location was ideal for walking into Ambois and there is a bakery down the street and ALDIs within an easy walk.

The apartment suited us perfectly. We loved the Italian decor and location. Being clad in greenery helped keep it fairly cool in temperatures of 40 and above. However, we appreciate that Philippe provided us with a fan without our needing to ask. We enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard garden in the evening after our short walk back from viewing the many interesting sites over the bridge in the town. Great to have the secure car parking space.

We enjoyed our stay in Amboise. The apartment was in a great location, walking distance to the sites we wanted to see in town. The apartment was lovely, comfortable, and had an efficient kitchen for preparing a couple of meals at home. Phillipe was helpful, meeting us at the beginning of our stay to introduce us to the details of the place.

We loved having the garden to sit outside, and also the convenience of a clothesline so that we could rinse a few things and have them dry quickly in the sunshine. Very large room, comfortable bed, modern and very nice shower, bakery on the corner nearby for fresh baquette and pain au chocolat in the morning!

We had a great visit to Amboise. This apartment is a great location. Very short walk to train station and to the main part of town. We also like the outdoor garden table to sit and enjoy the evening. Very enjoyable stay and our host was very helpful.

Superb location with secure parking

This is a well appointed studio flat with everything you need for a vacation. The free secure parking is a bonus because parking in Amboise is costly. It’s under 10 minutes walk to the town centre and maybe another 20 minutes stroll to the Clos Luce. It is cool inside and has a good electric fan. We found the bed comfortable. The studio does not have an oven, so no pizza. Lol! Not that we did any cooking with so many reasonable restaurants nearby. The Boulangerie about 30 metres away sells lovely patisseries and filled baguettes. We would happily stay again.

My two daughters and I just enjoyed a lovely stay at Philippe’s property. The apartment is in the lower section of a quintessential French countryside home with sweet garden, lots of birds, picnic tables and a peaceful respite for unwinding. The adornment is a less than 10 min walk over the beautiful Loire river into Amboise or you can easily drive as there is parking at the apartment and plenty of parking in town. Philippe was helpful and kind and also gave us the space making it feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. There is a nice little open kitchen, fridge and laundry as well. Perfect for a few days!

Great spot, Bakery 45 seconds down the road,10 minute walk across the Loire river to Chateaux Amboise. Very comfortable with a lovely garden space and the parking space was much appreciated. Kitchen is set up with many supplies and extras. We really enjoyed our time and Phillipe was a great host. If you're planning a stop in Amboise we highly recommend Phillipe's place.

We spent two nights in this very comfortable studio apartment and were quite pleased with the easy accessibility to Amboise and popular châteaux in the Loire Valley. We were so grateful for the on sight parking and use of laundry machines. Phillipe was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Room was comfortable for the two of us. Very updated....did not use the kitchen for cooking, as we came to France to enjoy the local fare wherever we stayed. A big plus was the use of the washer and dryer. Unfortunately the weather didn't let us use the patio as often as we would have liked.

The owner, Philippe Chastel, is warm and friendly and speaks very good English. His apartment is right below where he lives, so if there are any issues (and we did not have any) he is right there to take care of everything. The bed is comfy (but not a King) and the bathroom is very nice. The kitchen is complete with cooktop, microwave, full-size fridge, and everything you would need if you actually want to prepare a meal (condiments, flatware, plates, bowls, cups, etc., and plenty of cooking utensils: pots, pans, and all that. He made sure we had coffee as well (and the coffee pot is nice). There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, as well as all that you would probably need (ladies, you will be well-cared for). The apartment is lovely outside as well, with a very nice patio and table you can eat at if you want. The enclosed parking is nice to have. The apartment is a good 10-12 minute walk from the heart of Amboise, over the river, but it is great if you don't mind a walk each day. The apartment was very, very clean and we were glad we chose it!

The owner was very accommodating and apartment very clean. Good size for 2 adults and nice courtyard. It's a first floor apt. with window on the street/sidewalk so we couldn't leave it open at night for air circulation without street noise or someone crawling in. The owner gave us a fan, which helped. Well thought out design with creative storage areas.

Philippe and Marie are lovely hosts. This studio apartment is pleasantly removed from the bustle of medieval Amboise; it is so close and convenient, just across the bridge, and an easy walk. The apartment is well equipped and there is parking off street for our car. Twenty paces away, there is a lovely boulangerie and patisserie as well as a charcuterie. What more could you want! I would highly recommend staying at this apartment if you wish to visit the Loire valley and will return for another visit.

Comfortable bed, stocked kitchen, very homey and well decorated. Nicer than the pics relay in my opinion. His english is quite good. Owners Phillpe and Marie are wonderful hosts. Nice small apartment with everything you might need. Owners welcome you with a nice bottle of red wine, water, beer and many other necessities. Apartment location is super. 200 meters to train station for Amboise. Easy walk across bridge to city center and Chateau. They provide bicycles for easy rides around. Use of washer/dryer were really a space saver for our luggage. Comfortable bed, huge shower and nice kitchenette. Refrigerator make a bit of noise but nothing disturbing. Would definitely stay here again. Great value!

A quick walk from the train station, and minutes from the heart of the stunning little town of Amboise, this apartment met all of our needs. The unit is spacious, the bed and furniture very comfortable, and the apartment is uncluttered. It was very clean and we also enjoyed relaxing and eating outside. This is a quiet area. We very much appreciated that after several noisier locations. Having the use of a washer and a dryer was nice for long term travelers like we are. Our host thoughtfully left us a bottle of wine and some necessities, and made sure a friend greeted us on arrival to show us the unit and answer any questions. Thanks, Sylvie!

We stayed at Phillipe's suite in June 2016, and it was perfect it every way. The short walk over the bridge to Amboise, the parking spot for our rental, and the boulangerie made it the best location. Phillipe was even so kind to help us out of a difficult situation during the train strike. I would definitely recommend this property.
