Laurence has a beautiful home right in the center of town, convenient to shopping and the sites.

Be careful not to lock the deadbolt downstairs

Excellent location, spacious place, safe, comfortable, clean, and good wifi.

Extra charge for linens is ridiculous when renting to travelers who are long distance. Not a common practice across other countries and would have been very inconvenient if we did mot notice. Would not have rented here if had noticed at the time of reservation.

Fabulous, it was my 70th birthday celebration. So glad I chose this place.

It is very spacious and the excellent kitchen facilities enabled us to go to the Sunday market (a highlight for us), buy fresh food for the week and cook when we didn't feel like going out. Easy walking access to Amboise.

The stairs are very steep ....you have to remember to turn the light on because it is very dark when you enter the building. A light activated by sound would be a good investment.

Spacious apartment with great views across to Chateau Royale

A warm, large and comfortable apartment in the heart of Amboise. City centre on your doorstep with good free car parking a block away. Laurence also informed us of a petrol shortage, we took appropriate steps and were not inconvenienced at all. Thank you

The apartment building is old and noisy - not a big issue, except the lady downstairs runs a massage business from home so you always feel a little on edge about making too much noise

Wish we could've stayed here for a month

Wonderful location, so close to restaurants and tourist sites in Amboise. Grocery store and boulangerie were super convenient, just a short walk away. The unit itself was clean and charming, with a well-stocked kitchen. The lovely views of the rooftops and church really helped give us a sense of place. Plenty of parking available nearby. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Hauling our large suitcases up to the top floor in the twisting staircase (but the views are worth it!)

Comfy apartment near châteaux

It was spacious and comfortable. Great place for us to relax after sightseeing. Kitchen was fully equipped and great. Bathroom seemed brand new. it was nice meeting Laurence and she communicated all the information we needed. We were able to find free parking a short walk away and grocery store was so convenient. We also walked to the Chateau Amboise and enjoyed our visit there. The views from across the bridge at night were amazing. Also got great quiche and homemade pastries from Bigot at the base of the Chateau.

The location across from the TI on a small square close to everything you could need. free parking across the road was great. Laurence was sweet, helpful and upbeat. Check out the bar/restaurant right across the road overlooking the Loire River. I could live in the apartment actually as after 4 days the whole stay felt like I was home.

Abbiamo soggiornato in un gruppo di 5 persone, l'appartamento è molto confortevole e caratteristico, non manca niente ed è stato veramente piacevole rientrare la sera dopo le giornate fredde passate fuori, Amboise è un'ottima base per esplorare la vasta zona dei castelli a cominciare dai 2 presenti localmente. Segnalo inoltre che è stata una sorpresa trovare già a fine novembre i borghi ma soprattutto i castelli riccamente addobbati per il Natale in uno stile artistico molto attraente.

Solo una pequeña mejora.. seria muy útil que hubiera una cafetera mokka (tipo italiana). Solo una persona toma cafe y hacer un cafe con la maquina de filtro es desperdicio.

Die Lage ist super, es ist sauber und hat alles was man braucht! Wir haben auch oft in der Unterkunft gegessen und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich - eine tolle Erfahrung.

Im 2. Stock, kein Lift. Eigentlich gar kein Problem, wir waren aber mit 2 alten Leuten da und das war etwas schwierig. Aber sonst alles super!

Très bien situé au centre ville d'Amboise, appartement grand, vue sur les toits plein de charme.

Stores non occultants, vraiment très pénible en été. Isolation phonique faible, on entend dehors très distinctement. Douche avec un débit d'eau très faible. Matelas de la chambre principale en face du salon vraiment pas agréable. Pas de lavabo dans les toilettes, il faut retraverser tout l'appartement (assez grand) pour se laver les mains.

L'emplacement en plein centre ville mais avec un parking public gratuit à proximité, la taille de l'appartement avec ses 3 chambres indépendantes (idéal avec des enfants), le cachet de l'ancien, la vue sur les toits de la ville, le très bon contact avec la propriétaire.

Un peu bruyant avec la route des quais à proximité.

Logement spacieux, fonctionnel, confortable et décoré avec goût. Très bien situé

L’isolation du sol étant simple, avec nos deux enfants qui bougent, nous avions peur de faire trop de bruit et de déranger le voisinage, même si personne ne s’est plaint. Le sèche cheveux mériterait d’être changé.
