Great facilities for a short stay near Chesterfield

Perfect location for visiting Barrow Hill Railway Roundhouse, Chesterfield Canal, close to bus to Chesterfield. Fridge & micowave available with good internet access & en-suite shower facilities.

super clean basic comfortable room

super clean, straightforward and comfortable

as a basic room it was fine but felt a bit lonely… maybe a bigger cooler tv would have helped and also a (fold-out?) table to eat from… nothing open when I stayed so had ‘do it yourself meal’ from local shop which was totally fine but could have done with a table to sit at

First, but will certainly won't be our last visit here. The place was amazing, comfy and Verity was lovely ! We hope to move to this area , it's absolutely beautiful in Hollingwood .

Ideal location for event I attended

great location close to canal and 3 mile walk into Chesterfield. was attending Barrowhill Beer festival so could walk there and back with ease two single beds ideal

It was very clean and in a good location for the event we were attending.

It was freezing when we arrived and we had to go to the local pub to get warm, also although there was a key box which was hard to see in the dark the property door was locked from the inside. I know heating is expensive, but guests expect to at least be comfortable. The temperature of the room spoild it for me.

Very quiet, clean and comfortable accommodation.

Quiet location. Our 3rd stay here and always found it clean and comfortable. We left a phone charger and I was quickly able to arrange it to be collected from Verity who was very helpful.

Almost exactly what we expected when we booked.

An excellently presented if somewhat tight room and en suite. It has a fridge which would have been useful to know in advance.

Information about the dishes and cutlery and how they might or might not be cleaned during our stay would have been helpful.

Great location for Ringwood Hall, we attended a wedding there and it's a couple of minutes walk.

Great loft for a couple. All you need for a stay. Everything thought of for your needs.

Really clean. Quiet at all hours. loft convertion really well thought out. Microwave, wine, beer cooler cabinet. All crockery and knives, folks and spoons. Kettle. Towels. Small tv. The signal for it a little weak. Shops nearby convenience ones. Local pub Hollingwood hotel ok but not fine dining but lots of choice menu. Not for real ale fans. Ringwood Hall is nearby lovely for special meal out. Wifi was ok. Verity on the phone when I rang was very helpful before our stay for 2 nights with questions for local area. We would recommend staying here. Only one downside the wine cooler fridge makes quite a noise going on and off very frequently through the day and night, disturbed sleep although bed was comfy and duvet not too heavy.

I was looking for the email to find out about keys when the host came down and opened the lockbox. She said I could park on their drive. The room was immaculate as was the bathroom. Clean, tidy and excellent provisions - kettle, microwave, crockery and cutlery, fridge, tv, soft towels. Everything you would ever need. The bed was so comfy! Great little AirBnB.

We absolutely liked everything about The Loft! The location was great as we were attending Rail Ale Beer Festival in Barrow Hill. The beds were super comfortable! The room and bathroom were spotless clean and well equipped. We can strongly recommend that place, we'll defenitely come back.
