An exceptional stay at a unique accommodation, with welcoming staff and amazing views.

The property is stunning with amazing views of Lake Como and itself beautifully maintained within the charming village. Our suite was well appointed, comfortable, clean, and fully stocked with all you would need for a self-catered stay. The staff, particularly the reception team and the drivers, were delightful and could not be more welcoming. We had many breakfast options at the restaurant and the relatively new restaurant on the property is well worth booking for dinner.

There is very little not to like. The only gentle warning is that the walk up to the property takes some stamina (and that’s coming from two fit guests). Otherwise, enjoy!

Gorgeous , quiet, peaceful and wonderful!

We did not have breakfast but the walk up and down to town was very exhausting. Be prepared to walk and hike up the path lots....it was hot so having a pool on property a bIg bonus! Loved the grounds , ventured out lots...and Castle next door absolutely amazing and a big plus to the stay.

The steep path to get to town the fastest and no taxis want to take you up the hill from the train. Call front desk to get a ride... 25 E but worth it. The desk called us a taxi when we needed to get to the train. Needed that to get up and down to this place for sure!

VEZIO/VARENNA

Fantastic view from the grounds. It's definitely worth going around and exploring. Has sun heated pool and tennis court to use. We lived in small village Vezio next to the castle entrance. It was calm and quiet. Remember that it's very steep pathway to go down to Varenna and station. Taxi cost 10-15 euro, can be ordered from train station or by phone. From 19.00 p.m. to midnight there is free bus going to entrance. Very good connection links with Milan and near by places by ferry and train. Great restaurant on premises. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of routs for hiking and sightseeing around.

All was good . Maybe remember that walk to the place is uphill and very steep. Get taxi at least while with bags.

Far from the madding crowd

The staff were very helpful, and once at the property, you are removed from the tourist crowds, with great views, facilities, local walks, and a small restaurant serving local specialities. We had a lovely stay.

2 bedrooms, 2 baths, both large and well done. Very nice kitchen with all the necessities including coffee cereal bread milk.....It was beautiful with a nice view of the lago.

Unmatched- overwhelming beautiful

Absolutely stunning. The pool was beautiful, and the gardens were absolutely breathtaking. Such an unmatched place to stay. The owner was so so lovely and really made the experience so much better. The place was very clean, there were stunning olive trees and jasmine- it smelt amazing!

Only downside was the trek to varenna- the path was very steep and uneven, so we had to take a taxi every time to get into the main areas. But I do have a joint condition so others would be okay if you’re more stable on your feet.

Really a relaxing holiday enjoying Lake Como from the comfort of a very good apartment.

Beautiful apartment (Casa Leo) with a nice bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, a good bed and good wifi. Although Casa Leo is not on the premises of the Agriturismo, you can use all of the facilities of the Agriturismo. Relax in the beautiful garden and enjoy the stunning view. The staff was very friendly! The small town of Vezio is close to Varenna, for us, it was easy to walk down and take the shuttle bus/taxi up again. This way you are not in the busy town of Varenna but can enjoy it when you want.

Really the only, for us small, downside of this apartment is that it has no own outside area. There is a small square in front of the house which you can sit on but people (locals and tourists) will pass by.

Fantastic spot with incredible view

Loved the view from the apartment. The grounds attached are epic and pools incredible. Really funky, interesting interior to the apartment with very clean rooms.

The address to the property isn't accurate on booking.com as the actual check in is at the Agritourisimo Castello Di Vezio.

Kulkeminen haastavaa, taksia ei saatu tilattua etukäteen. Lyhyestä kyydistä jouduimme maksamaan 25€ per suunta, mikä tuntui kohtuuttomalta. Henkilökunta vähän epäystävällisiä ja ravintolan hinta-laatusuhde ei kohdannut. Aamiainen ei kuulunut hintaan.
