Varenna Bellevue

Location is ideal - overlooking the ferry terminal and less than 5 minutes walk down, but noise was not an issue. Easy walk also up to the main square. Balcony was a great place for a drink overlooking the lake. Staff were very helpful and when we had a small problem with the washing machine, the staff came immediately to fix it. If you have larger luggage, there’s also a secret door just as you enter the building on the ground floor, so you don’t have to carry the luggage up to the unit and then back down to the bedrooms.

Not a big issue - but just make sure you look for cars as you step out the front door - it’s right on the road. The apartment is well sound proofed though so there is no noise issues.

Ruim appartement met prachtig uitzicht en klein terrasje! Goede locatie. Dichtbij restaurants, de veerboot en het oude centrum. In- en uitchecken werkt perfect.

Raam bij de keuken ging niet open waardoor de luiken niet open konden en het wat donker was in de keuken.

We had some travel related delays and were unable to pick up the keys in person. Communication was excellent on where and how to pick up the keys. The office was a very short walk to the apartment. Excellent location and very convenient to the village and the ferry.

I should have requested additional pillows. They have a Lavazza coffee machine in the kitchen, but no coffee pods or sugar. This would have been nice to have for each morning to start off our day. At a minimum indicate they have a machine and no pods so we could have brought some with us.

Location

All downstairs was damp. Poor ventilation meant towels didn't dry and downstairs smelt of damp. It rained 1.5 days. An umbrella in the apartment would have been good.
