Beautiful location, lovely room/property, helpful and kind service…can’t say anything but good things. The property is close to the town center (3 min walk) but nice to be slightly outside of all the people. Christian was so helpful, from arranging taxis for us, and making recommendations.

The location of Villa Monti was perfect for my family of four, as well as our two friends that traveled with us and stayed in a separate room. Christian was amazing, friendly, attentive and was able to arrange for an amazing last minute boat rental for us, as well as recommend a fantastic restaurant that we reserved for our last night. We felt so safe at Villa Monti and Varenna as a whole. Our two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of four, spacious, clean, and had a gorgeous window in the kitchen/living space with a view of the lake.
There wasn't really anything I could say that was a dislike about the property.

Staff were beyond excellent. However I was not expecting a top floor apartment, or the the low beams criss crossing the property. View was excellent but you had to stand to see out the window. The 97 stairs were just too much. Would stay again in an apartment on the ground floor.

Location
I was not given the apartment I booked. The picture shown when I booked was different than what I received. I should have had the 2 bedroom with windows like it was shown during the booking. There were ants and other insects on the floor. There was not enough coffee in the room.
