Nice stay close to the city center with a really nice host.

I've had some food poisining(not from this place, but from another restaurant), and the host unbureaucratic extended my stay for a few hours to relax and even went to the pharmacy for me, which was really nice.

There is a small cafe right next to the window, from which I have heard some noise. But it wasn't too loud and I went to bed quite earlyyl, so I guess usually that is not a big deal.

Superb

This is a renovated building with beautiful, modern, tastefully decorated apartments. There is a kettle and mugs in the room. In the lobby, they also provide free coffee and tea. Andriana, the hostess, is extremely polite and kind. You may park your car in front of the main gate if necessary. The location is perfect, a 10-15 minutes walk to Skopje downtown.

Because the accommodation is in the souterrain, it is somewhat dark and has insufficient ventilation. So the cafe's terrace is above, and the window cannot be opened.

I stayed in Ara twice (in the beginning and in the end of my trip, the rest of the time I spent in Ohrid and Tirana) and if I ever go to Skopje again, I'll definitely chose Ara. This place is amazing! I liked the room itself, the welcome-pack of snacks and drinks for guests, the neiborhood and, above all, the host who was extremely helpful and ready to go extra mile for your careless vacation. Andriana, as i said, you're the best host ever, thank you for everything!
