Okay i guess.

Nice location, beds were private and lockers were spacious.

hard to find because of the hotel upstairs, the lockers were uncleaned from previous guests and they smelt really bad, the bathroom had no toilet paper and the locks barely worked.

Cheap and in the middle of the city. Good location.

Facility wasn't clean. Bed sheets were yellow colored. Toilets were dirty. No air conditioner and no heater.

Legitimately the best hostel in town

I've stayed in a bunch of pastels here in Skopje, and this is by far the best one. It's clean, quiet, the capsules keep the light out so you can sleep through anyone's comings and goings.

There is only one mini fridge for the whole hostel... So don't expect to be able to store things requiring refrigeration

Never stay here

The only good thing about this place was the staff and the location.

Everything was dirty and it was underground so no fresh air in the 78 bunks. The bathrooms weren’t even clean and the locks didn’t work so overall disgusting experience and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Plus it was full of old creepy people.

Do not visit this place.

The hostel located very close to the old bazaar. Everything can be reached on foor. Easy check-in and out. Restorants and kiosks are close.

The problems were caused by the guests. Talking loud in the middle of the night, disrespectful with sleeping. Pleasuring noises all the time. I saw a man (50plus at least) pleasuring himself with open curtains. Human urine and faeces next to the toilet and inside of the shower!!!

Hard to breathe

Only the location

The most unpleasant moment was when i woke up from cigarette smoke coming from the hallway, i was unable to breathe. Inexistent or poor ventilation plus people smoking in the hallway is surely impossible to describe as pleasant.

The place is dirty as hell, it smells of sex all the time which is very disgusting, there is rotten food in the living room, the toilets seem like the last time they were ever clean was when they were installed, showers look like a place where you would 100% cat HPV, there was not a single trace of toilet paper anywhere, probably because they know no one will be brave enough to take a dump in that hell hole. For the price I would have rather committed a crime and spend the night in jail (which would be 100% cleaner than this place) thank sleep here. They do not do refunds because if they did, they know for sure they would go out of business in a week. The air vents were full of mould and thick dust, breathing in asbestos powder would be a 100x less harmful than breathing the air of this place for 2 minutes. Worst stay I’ve ever had in life, if you’re thinking of sleeping here, think twice and sleep in the bench right in front, it’s gonna be much more pleasant.

Disgusting place

The bed is mega big and super cozy. The best bed i have seen in a hostel so far in my 1 year traveling the world

Reviews about hygiene ARE true. Want to confirm the unhealthy conditions of the establishment? Go ahead and book. What a horrible place. It looks abandoned and it was almost empty. Only 2 of us plus 5 people. There are at least 40 bunk beds. Booking said 5 places left yet the place is almost empty. Nice trick ha? This place should not even be open for business. Its insane to host people under the current conditions. We found 1 cockroach in the bathroom, it's untrue that there are 100 beds and 3 toilets. There are at least 7 toilets for men and 7 for women. Same for showers. BUT, the bathroom smells disgusting to the point of wanting to throw up. There was rotten food on a frying pan in the common area,this means it has been sitting there for days. Pee for more than 4 days on the cover of a male toilet. Who is the pig who pees in the toilet like that anyway? Unbreathable air, feels stuffy and we found mold on the air vent. The paper we rubbed came out dark green. We paid 13 euro for this, is beyond a rip off. Its a joke.

We would not stay here again.

The location was great, couldn’t been better. And the staff was very kind and helpful. As soon as we asked for help they provided us with what ever we needed and their English was great

It needed a lot of maintenance and it had a weird vibe. The cleaning was really bad, especially in the showers. The locks in the showers were broken. Unsure wether or not the sheets were cleaned, but if you asked for new ones you got it. It had a weird smell and a pool of water was on the floor and never cleaned up the day we arrived. Other guests were also loud and you could hear others talking in other rooms in the middle of the night. Some guests seemed to stay here a long time and seemed to never leave the hostel.

A great place for a few hours rest

Very cheap, large area to store baggage above each bed. We books 10 minutes before arrival as it was a place to sleep for a few hours before we continued traveling- Excellent for this.

We received a top bunk which didn’t matter as it was daytime, but it would not be usable if a person has any mobility issues.

A great place to crash

A great place to crash if you're passing through. The mattress was comfortable and I had a restful sleep.

It doesn't have any natural light but again it's a great place to crash as the price, location and overall value are cool.

Superb

Comfy mattress, huge locker, duvet and towel, capsule style with curtain. Common area with hot/cold water dispenser. Separate female/male bathrooms with soap dispensers and hair dryers. The location is the best, right in the city center at the beginning of the Bazaar. It's located in the underground of a 3 star hotel.

the location is wonderful, but it only masks the disaster that is a hostel in the basement of a hotel. dirty, hot, dark, inside a basement, smelly.

Good, clean option in the center of the city

Really comfortable mattress and very nice sheets. Enough space for the luggage in the locker. Having a towel included in the price was also very useful. Very good location. Internet worked well and there was a kettle in the common space which was very useful.

The lock in the locker looked very cheap so if somebody wanted to open it, wouldn't be difficult. There was also no door in the room and the reception is for a very big building so they don't check who enter. But even this way, we felt pretty safe. The bathroom smelled of humidity and there was mold in the showers, which was pretty disgusting. Would be good to have a fridge in the common room and some cutlery to prepare simple meals or even breakfast. Still for the price, cant really complain.

The bed was big and very comfortable. Most of the time it was quiet.

Bathrooms and showers were okay but I didn’t feel comfortable using them. There was very little security. There were no doors to the female dorm. You just walk into the hall. You could easily smell smoke from the other side of the hallway.

Cute little hostel in the heart of Skopje

The location is great, near to everything! The hostel has these comfy boxes in the basement. It was quiet, dark (no windows) and the mattress was nice and clean. The little box gives you your private room and comes with a locker (don't know how safe this is). I slept very well. The doubles are better than the single beds, if you want to take all your stuff inside. The Box has a drawer underneath to store stuff. Staff was very friendly. The airport bus leaves you at a 5 min walk from the hostel. would come back.

It was not so easy to find, in fact it is in the basement of Hotel Koka. There is a microwave, but nothing else and no cutlery or even mug or plates, like usually in hostels. Besides this, everything fine.
