A good choice

Good location. Helpful staff on reception and in breakfast room. Decent cold buffet breakfast. Limited free parking in front of hotel in barriered car park. At one point, it seemed that we were blocked in but hotel staff had keys to move cars out of our way. Excellent large scale map of the vicinity on a wall near reception

Nothing really. Breakfast room was full when we got there but it wasn't a problem to come back back 20 minutes later when the room had cleared

Not good experience, room are not clean

Good staff and extra service

Breakfast is not good, structure is old and feels dirty, there's lot of smoke smeel, room aren't clean so much, and there's a lot of thing that don't work anymore (some functionality of the jacuzzi) or are broken (also internal windows between room and bathroom)

Very nice stay in Skopje

The hotel is very well located, next to the old bazaar, and walking distance to the city center. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Big bathroom, ok shower.

I don’t know if it was only in my room, but there was a constant humming noise coming from the electrical box. On the first night, the lights in the room kept turning on and off randomly, when they were supposed to be off. I have no idea what was that. That combined made me have a bad night of sleep. Over the time I got used to the noise, and it was only 3 nights, so I didn’t complain to the staff about that. The breakfast was fair, with local style.

Good location, soviet vibes

We loved the location next to the bazaar and market, staff were nice and the airport solution was available.

Breakfast was meh. Also, it's a bit ugly as a whole property In my opinion. We were pretty turned off by the entrance area. But once you start walking around it's fine. Feels a bit Soviet vibe :)

Nice big hotel with very good location.

Very ommunicative hotel location near the old bazaar and the main sqare as well. There is a free parking. Rooms and baths are big enough and clean.

Don’t bother even though it’s cheap

The location

The car park had an attendant who told us to leave our car in front of others, 10 mins later we had to move it due to blocking someone in. The beds were very uncomfortable, literally a mattress on top of MDF The shower had no soap etc Outside hall noise was so loud during the night. The aircon wasn’t cold

My overall stay at the hotel was not too bad, but the cleanliness of the room was below expectations. Housekeeping seemed to be limited to just changing the towels, and it felt like the general upkeep of the room was neglected. Additionally, I returned to find a wet towel left on my bed, which was quite unpleasant from a hygiene perspective. I believe the housekeeping services need to be more attentive and thorough

Convenient. But i would not stay again.

The only convenient thing was that the property is close to the Bus Station

I requested and booked a smoking room and was placed in a non-smoking one. The area the hotel is in is a bit on the not so safe side of town although its close to the centre. Considering the price I paid for my one night stay in a 2x2 room, the mini fridge should have been free, and I shouldn’t have had to pay for the one cheap drink I had from it.

Fantastic location to visit Skopje by walking (car rest in the park!)

The hotel De Koka Is in a fantastic location to visit Skopje, just between the old and the new town. Walking you could reach every interesting place in the city center. Parking is near the hotel and it is controlled by a guard. Breakfast is a buffet. The room was big and fully equipped.

A suitable option for a short stay in town

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Despite some minor issues with my room they were reactive and tried their best to sort the situation out. The room was ok, nothing really to complain. Check-in and check-out went also smooth. Great location.

Breakfast could have been better. It's OK value for what it costs, but the overall ambience was not as good as one would expected from a 3 star hotel. The hotel tends to get a tiny bit too loud at night.

Very good location. Direktly next to the bazaar and 4 minutes walk to the square AC and bathroom were good. A lot of space for one person. Very clean. Soft bed.

Nice hotel rooms, the beds are comfy. It is quiet and nice, and enough space. Really close to the city center!

A great introduction to the different world of Balkan

Location right in the city center, next to the old bazzaar. 5min walk to the Old Bridge. The great luck getting last free parking space in front of the hotel. Staff helpful in accepting additional guest (friend's daughter) quite late in the night.

I have never been to a stranger hotel. I think it was something else originally. Weird combination of luxurious materials and lazy craftsmanship. There are suites with circular beds and a big window to an oversized bathroom with a whirlpool. But with the available water flow, the whirlpool would be acceptably full in the morning. On the other hand, there is maybe half a dozen rooms without any windows. The breakfast room is in the middle of the building, so no windows either. The breakfast was mediocre, but we didn't mind because we had a great dinner for a great price around the corner the night before. There is basically no parking spaces reserved, definitely not in adequate number. But efficiently managed by very active old man.

Excellent base camp for Skopje centre

Very convenient location for exploring Skopje centre. Efficient check-in. Free on-site parking. For people of "considerable gravity," such as myself, the mattress was a bit on the hard side. That will, however, not be the case for 99% of travellers. I'd stay again.

Great location, maintenance lacking

The location is basically perfect. This hotel is good value for sure. Breakfast okay.

They have a Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence from, I think, 2016. I'm sure the hotel was properly excellent in 2016. The problem is, that was seven years ago, and there's been no maintenance work done since then. That means that many things, like most noticeably the ceiling tiles in my room (which were bent and stained and showing visible gaps), are now kind of rundown. It goes like this: when a thing visibly breaks down, it isn't replaced or fixed, and after a while, it starts to show. Also , the beds had terry-cloth sheets, which are not at all comfortable and are a totally baffling choice for a hotel. Still, this remains a good-value, clean option in the heart of the city.

In the very center of Skopje. In the middle of two sides, the old town and the city center. Many places to eat and drink close to the hotel. A clean and tidy place with good rooms.
