About this apartment rental
The apartment, located in one of Bolzano’s most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings, features a double bed plus a comfortable sofa bed, beautiful hand-knotted rugs, a dining table, a kitchenette, a NESPRESSO machine, a range hood with a built-in dishwasher, and AIR CONDITIONING, with seating—including dining options—outdoors on the 30-square-meter rooftop terrace, complete with sun loungers and deck chairs for relaxing. The elegant bathroom, featuring burgundy and beige MARBLE, is sure to delight you! A glass elevator takes you from the 5th floor down to the street, where you’ll find a private arcade lined with the city’s most exclusive shops. Personal discounts are available upon request. Take a stroll through the Old Town, across the fruit market, through the arcades, pay a visit to Ötzi, watch the people strolling by while enjoying a cappuccino at Walterplatz, and don’t miss out on the Italian and South Tyrolean specialties! The Museion and the Messner Mountain Museum are also worth a visit. In just 5 minutes, you can reach the Talfer Promenade with the Talferwiesen for a refreshing stroll. Bicycles are available for free at Walterplatz for an exploratory ride. If you’re feeling the urge to head uphill, take the Oswald Promenade—the magnificent view over the city will be your reward! From Bolzano, there are also three cable cars that will take you into the mountains: to Ritten, Jenesien, and Kohlern, where you can then enjoy the rest of the journey on the historic Rittnerbahn. There are plenty of rewarding hikes throughout the area, with many places to stop for refreshments. A hiking guide is available for you. For additional hikes, I highly recommend the Sarntal valley to the north; after a 20-km scenic drive, you’ll reach the main town of Sarnthein, where my “Villa Lageder”—along with five other vacation apartments—is situated, surrounded by a vast garden with mature trees. You’re also welcome to spend the second part of your vacation there hiking or skiing.

We went to Bolzano to experience a White Christmas and technically we did using the Bolzano pass that our host provided. We were able to travel around Bolzano especially the Seilbahn using this pass. Excellent provision. We were always happy to return to the unit at night but were never sure if the heating would be on or not as we did not control this aspect of the accommodation.

Well appointed. Great location. The only downside was it advertised air conditioning but we were not allowed to use it and there was not a fan available during two days of very warm weather.

The appliances and bathroom are very nice but there is no Bedroom instead a very small bed ideally for only 1 person not two Half of the bed is under the attic ceiling and a real disaster to sleep unless you are under 25 yrs old sporty and not overweight as Isle stated expect Vrbo does not explain those details. The elevator had not worl for 2 week yet when I contacted Isle 2 days prior to arrival she didn't mention anything as she said "wouldn't change anything"
The beautiful terrace happens to be open to all tenants in the building so its not private also the entrance to the apartment as its in an attic is also shared. Other than having a very hard time with the stairs we loved Bolzano and the surrounding.
