Peaceful , comfortable apartment

Wonderful view, peaceful area. The heating was good, comfy sofa and dining area. Decent sized bath.

A very centrally located and good sized apartment, with a nice view. It is also very quiet, as it doesn't open onto the street. An easy walk to anything you'd want to visit in Chartres.

I'd stay here again!

Location was walking distance to Chartres Cathedral and train station. I did not use the kitchen but did use the laundry facilities, which worked great. The view of Chartres from the balcony was exactly as pictured. The host was there to greet me and helped with settling in. Apartment was clean, comfortable, quiet, and spacious.

It was too hot. I understand that probably in Chartres is never very hot and it's not worthed to install the air condictioned but, if you rent a flat on the fifth floor and there are 39 degrees outside, you can put some cooling fans at least.

Superb

The balcony was a fantastic sun trap. Great little apartment, very pleasant stay with all the amenities we could need.

A few things to note: -the washing machine didn't work (did not spin) -you might want to add some more kitchen utensils (pot lids etc) -The drains in the kitchen and bathroom need to be cleared. They block and have a funny smell sometimes.

Mon expérience dans ce logement a été très négative. Je tiens à préciser que l’appartement n’est pas directement géré par le propriétaire, mais par un gardien qui habite juste en dessous et qui observe absolument tous vos faits et gestes. Il contrôle vos allées et venues ainsi que les personnes qui vous accompagnent, ce qui est extrêmement désagréable et donne une impression constante de surveillance. Dans mon cas, un jour de forte pluie, j’ai commandé une pizza pour dîner et, immédiatement après, j’ai reçu un message du gardien se disant « inquiet » parce que quelqu’un venait à l’appartement. Excusez-moi, mais j’ai loué un logement, j’ai payé mon séjour et j’ai respecté en tout temps le règlement. Cette attitude de contrôle est totalement déplacée et inacceptable. D’autre part, le logement n’est pas pratique : il est impossible d’ouvrir les fenêtres de la cuisine, ce qui provoque une mauvaise odeur. Le lit, en plus, n’offre pas un repos de qualité. En résumé, je ne recommande pas ce logement. Le fait de se sentir observé et contrôlé pendant tout le séjour gâche complètement l’expérience.

Parfait pour un court séjour à condition d’avoir asssez de mobilité.

L’ascenseur, le parking, la luminosité, le chauffage, la décoration, la vue, l’emplacement, l’accueil très sympathique et serviable pour la clef

Seul bémol, c’est l’accès au lit difficile pour la 2eme personne si pb de mobilité car le lit est collé contre le mur et il faut donc enjamber le partenaire. Aucun moyen de changer l’emplacement
