Tout était au delà de nos attentes. L'accueil est très sympathique, la vue à couper le souffle, on arrivait pas à fermer les volets tellement c'est beau et on avait hâte de se réveiller pour admirer a vue. La chambre est très claire et la literie très confortable, les draps sont de bonne qualité tout comme le délicieux petit déjeuner qui se prend à l'ombre, dans le jardin.C'est un buffet avec, tout: fromage, coppa, croissants, fruits frais et mûrs, très bons yaourts crémeux, confiture et du beurre!! (car on nous a servi que des petit-déjeuners sans beurre dans les autres villes), jus de fruit et café à volonté, et omelette sur demande, enfin c'est pantagruelesque, frais et savoureux (délicieux pain moelleux). Le personnel du petit-déjeuner et le propriétaire sont très sympa! J'adore!

This is a building with a long‑standing history. The rooms are spacious and bright, with a well‑thought‑out, comfortable layout, and feature balconies overlooking Matera. The hotel sits right in the centre of the ancient Sassi district of Matera. It is a five‑minute walk to sample local specialities within the old town. The breakfast is excellent. Served outdoors in pleasantly cool surroundings, it affords beautiful views over the Sassi di Matera, making for a fantastic atmosphere. The host is incredibly hospitable. He sent us parking directions ahead of our arrival and welcomed us personally at the hotel entrance when we got there. We had a wonderful trip to Matera.

It was not nicely decorated Instead of a grass that never grew, they should put white gravel. And throw away old plant pot and plant new normal flowers.
