We loved this beautiful bed and breakfast. So kind and helpful. Our room was an enormous two bedroom suite. The view is the Sassi at night from our room was spectacular. The breakfast in the garden was lovely.
There is supposedly air conditioning, but it was never on an our room and it was quite warm at night.

Our host Massimo was so helpful with restaurant recommendations and suggestions on what to see and do in Matera. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. And the view is amazing! The breakfast was delicious and Massimo was available for any information we needed for car parking. We loved our stay and will definitely return!

A beautifully situated former convent and generational family home with only three suites with stunning views of Matera at day and night. Our room was lovely with gorgeous views and an enormous bathroom. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the lovely garden because it was cold and wet at the time. Owner and host Massimo is charming and has wonderful stories to share including celebrity guests who have filmed in this extraordinary town. Could have stayed longer. Just to note it’s not the easiest place to find but when you get there it is - and incredibly convenient with views, sites and great restaurants all around.

The breakfast was excellent. The property was interesting, the views unbeatable and the local sires easily accessible.
The only negative was having to drag our suitcases up and down the ubiquitous steps in our 70's! Slight quibble, we only had one bedside light...
