With home renovations, I needed a clean bed and a hot shower and some peace for the rest of the evening and that’s exact

It was very clean. I booked a room at the last minute due to renovations at my home, I was sick and the last at the desk made it easy & quick for me & my husband to get to our room!! Much appreciated!!

The only negative, would be that the bed itself was hard…not comfortable at all (but again, I was sick so that could be that I just wasn’t feeling well).

Would have liked to have a few more breakfast choices, such as muffins or donuts. Also if the eggs and sausage could be warmer. They were cold as soon as I got back to my table.

Money hungry, rude,

Hotel itself was very nice, very clean, and up to date.

My kiddos got sick (well beyond my control) i tried to clean it up for them with the towels provided in my room. I was told they wanted to charge me a cleaning fee due to using the towels in my room, and then he had puked again so i was unable to clean it up, talked to housekeeping and she refused to give me anything for me to clean it up or even look at it as she was on my floor next to my room. Then they told me that it was just so much and i didn’t try to clean it up so they charged me again a cleaning fee. Through the night he puked again and they charged a cleaning fee due to having to “throw out the mattress” bc it has bodily fluid on it. Each of these incidents was $250-$350 A PIECE. Mind you, im sure they DO NOT charge when people have sex in their rooms and get their own bodily fluids everywhere, or when a women is on that time or the month and they accidentally bleed on the sheets/bedding. But my sick kids is an inconvenience to them…. They was VERY rude about everything. Again i would have cleaned up my kids mess, however i did not have anything to clean it up with, and they already charged me for using the towels THEY provided me in MY room to clean up the mess the first time.. its a very “dammed if you dammed if you don’t” hotel with that management, they will also cancel your rooms with any excuse just to up the price, and if you have more than one room booked and you cancel one, they will cancel the CHEAPEST one, and not tell you.

It was close to the interstate, the staff was very friendly & helpful. They greeted us with a smile and spoke to us on the way out and in every time. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The landscape was very clean and trimmed.

The girl at the front desk was friendly. The water pressure in the shower was the highest at any hotel we have ever stayed in.

The breakfast offerings were inedible. The room size was completely inadequate - just big enough for us to scoot around the bed. No chair to sit on, only a stool. Not what we were expecting for a 5 night stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My daughter and I stayed at Tru Hilton Shepherdsville Louisville from August 7th to August 10th, 2025, during our very first holiday in America 🇺🇸 and everything was simply perfect! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile, which truly made a difference in our stay. The breakfast was excellent fresh, delicious, and with a wide variety of options to start our mornings just right. My daughter especially loved the choices, and it gave us the perfect start to our days. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the gym. Both were clean, modern, and well maintained a real highlight after our long days exploring. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. It was comfortable, spotless, and the atmosphere was bright and welcoming. This stay gave us beautiful memories of our first trip to America, and we are so grateful to the entire team for making it special. We will definitely return the next time we are in Louisville!

That everything was so Perfect that I couldn’t have something to say about them. Ohhhhh I forgot the ATM 🏧 machine at the Lobby needs to be checked. It refused to pay 💰 us some Dollars, even though our Credit Cards worked fine in the City.😂😂😂

The staff (managers) were VERY rude!!! I thought pet friendly meant pets were free. They were not. They called me on it. I went down to pay and they berated me for it!!!! Unacceptable!!! Also, I don't know if there was construction going on in the room next to us but up to 10:25 pm there was loud pounding on the walls!!

breakfast was "typical" of the handful of other "hot breakfast" locations we stayed at on this trip. The area for breakfast was well lit and roomy.

The room was quite small and crowded, i.e., the walk area between the foot of the bed and the very small desk area and bench-like area was rather narrow. Furniture was created by a minimalist. The bathroom, on the other hand, was very nice, including the shower. However, there was no place to hang wet towels once used but useable again.
