We liked the location to the Mega Caverns.

Great , safe location, cleanliness and regular sized refrigerator/freezer.

Just something to be aware of… we were not informed that we needed to turn on the icemaker in our unit’s freezer in order to have ice, since there is no other ice available in the hotel.

Location

I was provided a room that was either still preoccupied or the person had just checked out, everything was on the floor, dirty linens, empty containers of food, I had to wait to get a different room and when I did the toilet was running all night long, horrible stay

Good Place

The bed was comfortable and loved the little kitchen.

We only had one bath towel. Also, there was a used coffee filter in the coffee maker from the last occupant. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Hotel was very clean and quiet. Kitchette was a nice convenience, but wasn’t used this trip.

Older Candlewood but worth staying here

Older property, not nearly as modern as the other Candlewood I stayed in last night in Lexington. Kind of a weird lobby. No breakfast options. Room was older but well appointed with a nice little kitchenette. Microwave clock was wonky. There was a strange low-frequency drone heard continuously inside the room and it was kind of loud. The desk chair was completely worn out. Bed was comfortable enough. For the rate, I'd stay here again.

Exceptional

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 night stay. The hotel was clean. We loved that our room had a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, stove top, microwave, and a full sink. Our room and the bathroom had plenty of floor and storage space. The large walk-in closet was nice and included an iron. The hotel is close to everything. The area where it is located was quiet. The parking lot was well light at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Louisville. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice, quiet, comfortable, convenient, and reasonably priced place to stay.

Facility smelled like smoke on both nights and it was reported to the front desk however it does not seem as if anything was done. The mattress was absolutely horrible we had to flip it over and turn it and it was still terrible.

it was alright, better than a motel 6 or something. but not worth the price

the room itself was comfortable and clean and the guy at the desk when we checked out was super friendly (even though nobody else really was..)

it took what felt like forever to even get in our room. we didn’t get the room we paid for, and the keycards wouldn’t work. we paid for a disability shower and were told it was “unavailable” and just got placed a different room with no compensation. the staff in the beginning were decently rude and the entire building didn’t really look like the pictures at all. we were also told our room would overlook the Kentucky kingdom park and it did not. it overlooked an empty parking lot.
