We loved the location, it was central for all the exploring we were doing. My daughter loved the animals and we all loved the cosy feel and laid back nature of the area. Suited our multi generational travel group. Good communication of directions to get to the house, into the house and the surrounding areas.
The downstairs shower didn't work which was a bit inconvenient. And the back garden area would have been great if there was a gate to enclose the area, for the dog to be let off the lead.
There were some areas of the house that may need some work, a few holes in the wall.
But none of this took away from the nature and beauty that was around us and we were able to come together as a family!

The location was great! We were in walking distance to a few restaurants and shops. In addition, we were close to Connemara, Kylemore Abbey and Killary Fjord. The house was spacious and comfortable.

Location
Size of property - plenty of rooms and beds
Comfort - cosy and lots of hot water
Clean with nice additions e.g hand soap, towels, tea bags and utensils/crockery
Surrounds- children particularly enjoyed seeing the animals
Safety/security concerns:
Leaking ceiling in kitchen- water dripping, slip hazard. Lovely new shower but reluctant to use in case it exacerbated the leak.
Not all windows were lockable/secure/fully working order(concern for us as travelling with small children)
If window issues could have been resolved fully, rating would definitely have been higher as it met our expectations in lots of ways.
