Lovely lakeside 4 bedroom spacious property. Fantastic views and beautiful location . Conservatory , dining room , real fire . Downstairs master bedroom with en suite shower room . Paddy’s bar is a few minutes walk away along the shore road . Half an hours drive from Westport and Castlebar a great location for walking , cycling fishing and Golf . Fully secure garden and parking for four cars . Pub and shop in the Village .

Check in was very easy, as was check out. We had some trouble figuring out things like electricity - which works differently than in the States - but the owners were extremely responsive.

The location is wonderful in walking distances to the lake. Within 30 minutes you can reach Westport or Ballinrobe (shopping), Claremorris is 40 minutes and Galway just over one hour away. The clowe by pub (Paddy's Bar) is only open on Sundays.The status of the house:Upstairs and the ground floor bedroom with ensuite bathroom has been updated/renovated recently. The dining area and living room are functional.In general the house feels damp and needed lots of airing.The kitchen and utility room are in a real mess.Kitchen: ALL plates, glasses, pots, pans, cuttlery or kitchen tools were sticky or durty and needed cleaning before usage. The fridge does not cool properly, the microwave is getting hot (externally) and switching off after short time in use. A BBQ is available but we did not use in the end, after lifting the lid.The house could be a wonderful place, if the hygiene level and the state of the kitchen and facility room would be acceptable.
