Hill House is fabulous. You couldn't get a better location and set in a beautiful garden beside the church. The house itself is really comfortable, four really nice bedrooms and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is really well equipped, and theres plenty of couches for everyone to sit in the living room. We had a minor issue with the hot water and the owner sorted it immediately.
Apart from the aesthetics, the house has a really relaxing, calm atmosphere and played a major part in our enjoyment of Clifden. I would highly recommend Hill House to anyone.

Have stayed in Hill House many times.
Beautiful spacious house with everything you need.
Always spotless clean.
Right in the town so it's close to shops/pubs/restaurants.
House is at the top of a steep enough hill (it's in the name)
So anyone that is not too good on their feet would find it a struggle but there is parking right outside the house.
We usually stay in Summer time but stayed for 4 nights after Christmas until after New Year this time.
The House was so cosy in Winter we had an open fire every night which was lovely.
Would highly recommend this House and will definitely be back.
Had a smart TV which was great but Netflix didn't seem to work on it.
But was no big deal had plenty of board games and card games.
