We informed our host we would be arriving late and l was told heat and hot water would be turned on we arrived to find no heat or hot water at all. 6 Degrees outside. All 3 windows wide open. Owner arrived to turn it on. I said you told me it would be pre heated. She had alcohol taken and spoke so aggressively to me and said do you want to stay or not and then she walked away. No apologies what so ever. I was so upset it was now 9 o'clock and we had pre paid l knew she wouldn't refund me and No accommodation in surrounding area. So we had to stay put. I have been in contact since and still no reply from Owner or apologies. Shameful .

Perfect for a night or two. Great location and easy check-in

Bedroom was nice and bed comfy. Kitchen was great but missing sugar and filters for the coffee machine.

Bed was a bit short and too small. Queen would have been better. bathroom was minute!

i didnt like anything, i did not receive what i was expecting, would not describe this facility as an apartment, such an insult to some beautiful apartments to be rented in irelan

i didnt like anything at all with this accomodation, infact i am requesting a refund of the money i paid, not worth €450 at all for 2 nights, yer pictures on ye`re webpage are so deceiving, ye got a good photographer to put all the best bits it must be of the whole building together to make it look good on the webpage and that is what i went on to book this accomodation, i expected to get a spacious proper apartment with the double bedroom and twin room off same but that is not what i got, it was a damp dingy den instead that we got, i am going to publicly put up my total review of this accomodation so i want to hear back from ye in the interim, the couch in the twin bed area was not fit to be sat on, shocking to think that ye have such a thing in use, should be in a skip, i had no comfortable seat to sit on all weekend and the price we paid,disgraceful, we left our own modern comfortable home with good quality furniture/couches to go to a damp house in this day and age, we as the couple ended up in the twin room instead of the double room as it was the best of a bad lot, no wardrobe to put our clothes in, our daughter and grandson in a different part of the property, ridiculous and us treating to this weekend away, shocking, didnt expect to be upstairs and the stink of damp and sulphur in the property, rank, 3 of us in our family group have chest issues and we ended up in this damp den, not acceptable, yer advertisements are so deceiving, 4 star property, where did that rating come from ??

it would be very helpful to have printed instructions on how to use the stove, heaters, and especially how to lock the front door. In the unfortunate event of a fire or emergency, you have to have a key to get out once the door is locked. There’s no way to exit otherwise.

The decor of the apartment was very nice, and the location was great.

The WiFi didn't work in one of the bedrooms..the signal strength was too weak. I reached out to the host and they thanked me for notifying them,but offered no resolution.

Good for a night out, but not for rest.

It was within walking distance to everything in Clifden. The heaters worked well to warm up the space. Check in without a person present worked pretty well.

The house was very old and rough around the edges, a bit dirty upon arrival, didn't have much to use in the kitchen, and the pictures in the room description on booking didn't match the actual apartment. There was no person to check in with since it was self check-in and so we had some random people burst into the apartment looking for accommodations. Also, the walls are so thin and we could hear everything from the person above, all throughout the night. Also, it's just a creepy vibe overall with shadow pictures on the walls and creeky old floors. Seems too expensive for what you're getting.

Didn’t like people sitting on the terrace under our bedroom window talking loudly or two other occupants coming onto the terrace in their underwear and people sitting under our window smoking blowing smoke into our bedroom. Also the shower was difficult to moderate temperature.

Cosy Clifden

It's such a cosy and comfortable apartment. We were on there a night as we were visiting our son in a nearly gaeltacht. It was a wonderful size apartment and had everything you would need for an extended stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the location of this property was second to none. Near to many restaurants, pubs, beaches and local shops. We wished we could have stayed longer, and we will the next time.

The best recommendation I can give is I’m looking forward to going back.

Excellent location. The kitchen facilities were far more than I anticipated with fridge, microwave, hob, toaster, kettle. Addition washing up materials were in situ along with tea & coffee. The host was very responsive to my queries in advance and during my stay. The terrace was novel and provided me with a space to rejoin the world slowly over morning coffee and to relax after a full day exploring Connemara. The cleaning staff were in every day, sociable and helpful. while busy doing their business.

It’s is not a didn’t like but perhaps a note to others. The building is perhaps many years older than me (in my mid fifties) is in a fabulous location and has a unique charm to it i.e squeaky stairs for example. I met numerous others guest all happy with their facilities and curious to learn about mine.

There was no breakfast which would have been nice in a b&b but the facilities were great and lots of cafes nearby. For the price, this was a lovely wee stopover. Really clean, cute, good shower and kitchen facilities. Great value.

Convenient stay for exploring Wild Atlantic Way.

Clear instructions were provided on how to access the property. The room was tidy and well presented. Having the little kitchen was a real advantage for us so we could self cater. A very comfortable stay.
