The Raddle Inn Log Cabins

Beautiful location. Great food at The Raddle Inn and we loved our pod. Helpful and friendly staff. Hot tub was gorgeous!

We really liked the property and were very happy with our stay but maybe you need to look at the lock on Lodge 3 … wasn’t very secure.

10 min drive to Alton towers 20 in traffic. Food at the restaurant was delicious and the kids loved it. I would recommend having a meal there. All the staff were lovely. There was play things for the kids slides swings and a bouncy castle. Good facilities in the kitchen. There’s a tiny freezer in the fridge for ice lollies. Sheets and towels provided and clean. Hot tub was nice and warm.

The cabin wasn’t as clean as I’d of liked. The stairs into our cabin were steep we could have done with a gate as I was worried about the kids falling. Our bed meaning the double bed was very very uncomfortable. The kids beds were fine though. But the cot we’d asked for was broke.

I liked that it was situated in a great spot with wonderful views. A great hub when visiting local attractions or site seeing. They do really good food over at the pub and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

The location was nice, and the staff at the pub was nice and helpful.

This was our honeymoon and when I asked if they could offer anything special they said I would have to pay more. We choose this because it said it was peaceful and quiet, this was not the case for the whole time we were there, we had chainsaws cutting the trees and strimmers. Not exactly relaxing especially when you’re in the hot tub and the workers can see you. We had to go out everyday to get away from the noise. We was given nothing more than the key when we first arrived, no information about facilities etc. On leaving I expressed my issues and thought the manager would come but I was told it will be passed on and they would be in touch, this never happened! To say it was meant to be special occasion we couldn’t wait to go relax somewhere else.
