Wetton Barns Holiday Cottages

Lovely cottage set in beautiful surroundings. Great village pub, friendly publican and staff. The pub offered tasty hot and cold food menu and a selection of draught beers, lager and cider. The cottage was equipped with fridge, small freezer, electric oven and hob, kettle, microwave and toaster. Some basic cleaning supplies provided for your use as starter pack.

Although a TV is supplied in the living room, the service was very poor, causing the various tv channels to pixilate and sound distortion, which l think was due to the remote area of the cottage and weak signal. I did report the problem.

We loved the location . Opposite a pub was a bonus ! We appreciated the supplies left for us on our arrival . The cottage was clean and fresh .

Quiet peaceful location. Very comfortable beds. Well equipped clean kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location was great and the property it self was lovely.

Felt completely let down by the staff/owners. We arrived beginning of May, unfortunately, I was a real cold snap. The heating wouldn’t work. When I contacted the property to explain the hot water is working fine we had no heating and if I could locate the boiler, have it turned on. They responded to say I don’t have the heating on during the summer months with supplied an electric heater. Honestly, a tiny 2 kW heater to try and heat a two bedroom house with vaulted ceilings when it’s 6°. Spent the first night in the front living room with the family then decided it’s too cold and we had to leave after asking again to put the heating on we was completely ignored. I wouldn’t book again.
