Little Bent is a beautiful detached cottage on the Staffordshire Moorlands/Peak District border. With spacious lawns/gardens, a large parking area and its own 3 acre safe, 6ft securely fenced dog freedom field attached

Little Bent cottage is a luxury self catering holiday cottage which sleeps up to 6 adults. You can unwind in peace and tranquility in the midst of spectacular rural countryside. Spend days out walking The Coombes or wander around local market towns and picturesque villages, or visit the wealth of historic buildings,and gardens such as Biddulph Grange.

Little Bent is well located near the historic market town of Leek, and in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The area offers wonderful opportunities to explore the ceramics trail, go geocaching, enjoy adventure and excitement. There are many attractions within a short drive, Alton Towers(9miles), Rudyard Lake and The Churnet Valley Railway , and the Manifold Valley.

The area offers wonderful walking, riding, cycling and climbing opportunities. The wow factor is the location which offers stunning views.

The Cottage provides a warm welcome with its two wood burners, modern farmhouse style kitchen, three bedrooms, a small cloakroom, and a bathroom with a large shower and a Jacuzzi bath, and comfortable furnishings. Bent Cottage is ideal not only for those seeking peace and tranquility, but also provides a perfect base for further exploration of the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Peak District. there is plenty of outdoor space to chill or for children to run off all their energy! At a additional charge there is a dog sitter/walker available.

A family holiday with teenagers and 2 dogs. Cottage and grounds incuding field absolutely amazing. Completely enclosed for dogs. Beautiful area with lots to do. Family went to Alton towers which was 20 minutes away. Wonderful walks to suit all abilities as not easy getting teenagers to walk too far! We all had an amazing weeks holiday, blessed by Beautiful weather. Hope to return one day.

From minute we walked in our stay was just what we remembered from last time we had been . Beautiful country kitchen and restaurant it lovely host left us a cake . Must say it had gone in the first half hour with us all . Eggs milk all the essentials to start out stay . It’s perfect for dogs my two loved the space and2 fields all to themselves. Perfect as one my dogs is reactive . Start to finish we loved it made memories in this little part off paradise . Hopefully we will be back soon .

Lovely cottage. Secluded spot, very quiet and great views. Very well set up for dogs - great having a fenced field for them to run around safely. Bowls, balls, dog towels, poo bags, etc provided. Very comfy for the humans too!

I you want to be out and about every day in beautiful scenery and then have an awesome base to relax then look no further. Stunning views out of every window and 2 large secure paddocks that you can let your 4 legged friend enjoy with no fear of them getting out. The hardest thing is convincing the dog to come inside and join you in the evening.

The property is lovely, plenty of room for me, my mother and my dog. Pauline goes above with lovely extras incluidng eggs, milk ankd cake. Home made biscuits, plenty of towels and bowls for the dog. Quiet location with 2 large fields for dogs to run free and secure. Just a short drive to leek. I will definitely stay again.

We all loved the property just the right size with everything that we needed. Attention to detail, lots of thought gone into making it completely dog friendly and secure, just gutted the weather only permitted us one dog field visit! This was a wonderful cottage to stay on over Christmas. So cosy and comfortable. It’s actually better than the pictures look! Very dog friendly - mesh at the bottom of gates, dog towels, poo bags etc so our dog enjoyed lots of freedom. The two secure fields are a real bonus - for us and the dog to get fresh air and with beautiful views.

The house is so comfortable and clean, a rural location that we wanted but near enough to shops for food , petrol etc. One of the best parts for us was the secure outside space for the dogs, they had an amazing time charging around outside ! Great walks nearby or many places of interest a shortish drive away. A very welcome homemade cake, milk and eggs on arrival, not forgetting the doggy biscuits. A Really good family bathroom, comfortable bedrooms, a lovely kitchen and lounge area , a great place to stay and enjoy family/friend time together. Would def stay again in the future.

cannot ask for a better location. If you are looking for peace and quiet you will be ok here. Rural but only 5 mins from Leek which has plenty of shops.. 25 minutes to Alton Towers. The cottage was spotless. The hosts were very polite and helpful. I only wish we could have stayed longer. If we get the chance will definitely stay there again.

Lovely cottage for a nice relaxed weekend with the girls, we throughly enjoyed it. Was set in a beautiful location and very safe my dogs to roam free with enclosed fencing made me feel at ease. Not to far from the shops and we visited a little zoo which was a 7 min drive, we also eat at a lovely restaurant down the road. Hopefully will come visit again

We stayed for 3 nights. The cottage and the surroundings were absolutely perfect. The cottage had everything we needed and more (delicious cake and other welcome gifts). Our little dog loved the enclosed garden and the secure fields to run around. This is the perfect place to relax and get some peace away from every day life! We are already thinking about when we can go back.

We’ve been to little Bent cottage before and loved it and this second visit didn’t disappoint us. It’s a great place for dogs with having the two securely fenced fields attached. The owners are very attentive if you have any problems or queries. Lovely little personal touches like eggs milk and cake on arrival. The location is just stunning with fantastic views and lots of lovely walks nearby. We would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return.

So much had been provided for our stay, cake biscuits and eggs for a welcome. There were cleaning products and other essentials which we did not expect. The cottage was beautiful and clean and even the dogs were catered for. I would recommend Little Bent Cottage for a relaxing stay.

This was an ideal place to stay with my son's wife and 3 year old plus the dog .The owners spent time on our arrival showing us round and informing us of suitable local attractions, shops, pubs and restaurants etc. The house is spacious and comfortable and the garden is totally safe for pets and children with plenty of space for outdoor games. Don't expect too much from Bradnop, the local village. You will have to drive 2 miles to Leek for the nearest shop. But if you like peace & quiet (apart from the kids) this accommodation is perfect Graham Douglas

We had a great stay at Little Bent. The cottage is in a lovely location, really peaceful with everything you could want - a real home from home! The garden and adjoining paddocks were great for playing games in the sunshine and our dog especially enjoyed the freedom. The house is beautifully decorated and lovely and clean. The jacuzzi bath is also a bonus! There are lots of lovely places to visit within a 15-minute drive and we would definitely like to return soon!

This is truly a gem of a cottage. Every creature comfort you could wish for in a home away from home. Perfectly situated to explore the stunning Peak District. Although for us it was a very fleeting visit we still managed to sample some of the awesome scenery as recommended by the charming and welcoming host. We will certainly be returning.

Cottage is well located for Peak District and Staffordshire with panoramic views over Leek and surrounding countryside. The Autumn colour being a bonus. Weather not brilliant but as expected in November. Dog friendly cottage with secure garden after we blocked gap under a gate to adjacent sheep field. We chose cottage as remote, the idea to get away from fireworks at home that disturbs our dog. Did not work as despite being few properties in immediate vicinity there were fireworks for 5 nights. Although still not as bad as at home. Owner gave us a warm welcome and gave us ideas of where to visit. We will return in future.
