Perfect location, lovely surroundings.

Perfect location for alton towers. Lovely and quiet with the added bonus of a morning greeting from a very friendly wee dog.

Mattresses could be improved, a little too soft and thin, although this could be a personal preference.

This is such a lovely home from home with so many thoughtful touches. The host has thought of everything to create a warm and welcoming barn with everything you could possibly need. This was our 2nd stay and we will definitely stay again next time we visit the area.

Wonderful family home for short stay

Beautiful home, with nice layout. Comfortable and spacious. We had 5 adults and one child and were very comfortable. We brought a blow up bed for our child for our own convenience and had plenty of room for it in the rooms. The sofas were comfy. The dining room comfortable, kitchen was easy to use. Bathrooms were clean and shower had good water pressure. We went to alton towers for two days and it was super convenient to get there and back. The gardens looked beautiful but we didnt go in due to being busy in the day. Owner came over and was lovely and helpful, answered some queries we had about the underfloor heating and downstairs gas fire. We all had a lovely time and hope to use the property again for our next trip.

Not fault of property but Google maps sent us down wrong road and told us to walk the rest of the way when actually it has a perfectly good road to access. Other family had already got there but we had owners phone number to contact if needed but found property easily enough once we realised error.

Beautiful homely barn in a fantastic location

Beautiful barn, has everything you need and more. So many lovely touches. This really is a luxurious home from home. The gorgeous spa bath was very welcome after a 5 hour drive. Excellent location for Alton Towers. We will definitely stay again next time we visit the area.

Welcoming house with a warm feel.

The house was clean and Eleanor showed us around. The facilities were ample with plenty of chill out areas. The bedrooms was a nice size and we all had enough room. We cooked and ate in the property most nights with good cooking facilities. The dog was welcome but we noticed no signs of other dogs presence before us which was nice

Amazing and memorable holiday just what we needed.

The property was so close to Alton towers which was great for us!!! The property was very clean and modern, it has a jacuzzi bath which is amazing!!! The gardens are amazing so much nature around. There was a welcome hamper for us when we arrived!!! The communication between the owners is brilliant nothing is too much.

Beautiful barn in a beautiful walking location.

We booked the accommodation for a well deserved meet up with friends, we were 4 adults and 2 dogs. The barn had everything we needed and it was great to have the garden to walk straight onto from the front door with the dogs first and last thing of the day. ( most of the time in our pj’s as very private ) The welcome basket was very thoughtful ( I will let you find out for yourself ) Eleanor was very helpful and happy to know she was there by phone or person if needed. As we had dogs, we wanted a good walking location and good choices of food and drink. The barn and location did not disappoint. So many walks from the doorstep and we set off each day for a full days walking, late lunch in a nice pub and then back to the barn for dinner. We had all we needed equipment / utensil wise in the kitchen to make dinner. The barn is walkable distance to Alton Towers, so if you are wanting to visit, staying at the barn would be a great option. For us, it was the walking location and knowing that we had a beautiful barn to relax in between all the walking was the icing on the cake. Thank you for your kind hospitality and so happy we found you.

Disappointing

The property was quiet and convenient for the places we wanted to visit.

The property felt grubby and not very clean. The shower leaked down the walls into the kitchen below and the shower trap was full of other peoples hair. The floors were dirty and there was a damp smell about the place. Towels smelt horrible like they had been washed but not dried properly. Main bed was comfortable but the room downstairs has a very uncomfortable bed with no room to move around it. All in all we would not recommend this property.
