Cosy cottage in a peaceful location

The cottage was great, fully equipped with all you need for a great stay. The rooms were lovely furnished It was immaculately cleaned. On arrival we had a welcome basket which was a nice touch and welcomed after a long journey. Located in a small village but close enough to all amenities. Would definitely visit again if we were in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay.

An extremely well equipped and charming cottage in a brilliant location

The location was perfect for visiting a whole load of places on our list, and the village itself was charming with really friendly people. The cottage was one of the best I have ever stayed in - beautifully clean and with everything you could want. The welcome pack was extremely generous and a wonderful surprise when we arrived, weary from our journey.

Beautifully presented cottage, extremely peaceful area. very clean, quality linens. Lovely location, very narrow road so parking is slightly limited, but there was plenty of spaces close by. Lovely hamper package of essentials, well equipped kitchen. Very very nice cottage.

A small supply of logs for the log burner would have been useful for an initial setting up of the fire.

We'll appointed and comfortable property, immaculately clean with a perfect kitchen diner.

If I was to be fussy the ground floor shower was ok when you got the knack of it and I wouldn't like to park a car bigger than our Ford EcoSport outside the front door but there is plenty of parking within a short walk.

the cottage was idilic excellent facilities superb furnishings

only fly in the ointment was the en-suite shower did not work and the water temperature could not be controlled it was scolding hot the owners are aware of this and are having the problem rectified

Lovely clean cottage

Very clean and comfortable, we easily found extra parking and there was a lovely the welcome box when we arrived.

The check out time was very early at 9am and was not flexible, this seemed a bit unnecessary when the check in was 4pm and was also not flexible. There was also no hairdryer that we could find.

A relaxing and tranquil stay in the heart of Yorkshire

Magnolia Cottage was delightful. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. The location was tranquil, which made for a very relaxing stay. Very central for days out to Yorkshire, Cumbria and Teesside. Will look forward to coming back.
