Excellent base to visit the Marlow area

Friendly ‘local’ Pub. Room tucked away was clean and warm. Used as a base to get ready for a local party, we arrived early afternoon and ate at the pub and then showered changed in the room before going out. Up in the morning to an excellent breakfast before leaving. Had circumstances been different I would have stayed a further night and explored Marlow.

Has free parking Accommodation was in a building attached to the pub Only a small number of rooms but clean, cosy and comfortable Breakfast was good and tea/coffee/water and complimentary biscuits in the room Staff were friendly and helpful Pub was friendly and seemed like a good “local” Would recommend

The stairs to our room were quite narrow and steep You do have to go outside between the rooms and the pub for food. It is a semi covered walkway

1. I would have liked a choice of 'real' coffee with my breakfast 2. The duvet wasn't wide enough for me (it felt like a child's duvet) so it let in draughts (I just put on extra clothes) 3. I would have liked a bedside table (I used the chair in the end!)

Expensive and somewhat dated room next to a pub.

Location to centre of town and car park. Breakfast was freshly cooked although only instant coffee. Bed was very comfy. Staff were friendly.

Room was in a small house attached to side of pub and with an entrance that was scruffy and uninviting. Narrow stairs up to the room were tricky with a case. Doors of neighbouring guests banging was irritating. Room was pretty dated in general. I felt it was a lot of money for something that wasn't really anything special

Room 1 in need of refurb - visible damp, peeling paint. Security - two windows opening onto ground floor street and public areas with no window stays so could not be opened without risk. Breakfast service very helpful but menu limited.

The room was clean, well-equipped and had a comfortable bed. The location of the property was ideal for Marlow town centre. The host was welcoming and made breakfast to order.

The hotel was good for the money great location and food was very tasty lunch & breakfast. Bar staff Friday night we're very friendly & helpful group of ladies. Was clean and rooms good enough size, with fan in as well which is needed in the heat. Teas, coffee, biscuits, shampoo, shower gel etc .

One of our breakfasts was done wrong, my friend asked for toast,mushroom, bacon and fried egg. He got no bacon but beans. (Which he absolutely can not eat due to allergie) The cheif just told us "that is was what he had written down" as if it wasn't his error it was my friends. He begrudgingly offered to do another but it was made clear he was busy and that it was a inconvenienc, so my friend just put it on another table and left it. My point been is really apology should have been given and another breakfast done, in stead off a stand off , of it wasn't his fault and its what he wrote down as if my friend had asked for beans, something he carnt eat. I Would suggest if a error happens which it can we are all human , instead be polite of a replacement but never make the customer feel at fault or more or less be calling them a liar to there face, not good service.
