The rooms were comfortable and it was nice not to have to climb any stairs with heavy luggage. The location is central to everything in the city, and it's a beautiful little town. The restaurant was nice and the food was very good.
It was a little difficult understanding exactly where to go to check-in and where to park for the hotel. We also weren't entirely sure how to check out earlier than 10:00 am. We finally decided to do like other guests and leave the room unlocked, with the key in the opened door. That seemed to work ok.

Easy to find but check-in at the restaurant is a walk up the hill. No food or parking in the building containing the room but the restaurant (up the hill) has both. Breakfast (up the hill) was excellent and we also had a great dinner there in a lovely setting. No air conditioning but dual aspect windows gave us fresh air.
The hill - but they can't be blamed for the topography! Triberg is one big hill but also surrounded by wonderful countryside and it's on the famous B500.

Great guesthouse with separate accommodation a short walk away. Lovely friendly staff who did their best to accommodate our lack of German speaking. Really good fresh home cooked breakfast.
Don't take your bags into the guesthouse/restaurant as you'll just have to carry them back down the hill to the actual accomodation!
