Max and Christof could not have been nicer or more helpful. Their attention to details and making every guest feel special and very welcome was outstanding. They provided us with excellent recommendations for places to visit, hiking trails, and restaurants in the area.

My husband, adult daughter and myself could not think of anything that needed improving. I am so glad that I cancelled another reservation elsewhere and booked here instead.

Wonderful!! My daughters are already asking to come back another time.

We had a lovely time at Pension Altfogtshof. The location is wonderful, in the middle of the Schwarzwald surrounded by green and cows. The room for three was spacious enough, with a shared balcony and newly renovated bathrooms. Breakfast was varied, each of us found something we liked. We enjoyed using the games down in the basement (especially the pool table), and are sorry we didn’t find enough times to use the outdoor pool. Max and Christoph are very welcoming and friendly and really take care of their guests personally. They remember each and everyone’s name and preferences. They offered me gluten-free bread for breakfast without me preparing them in advance, and recommended and offered home remedies for my daughter’s sore throat. Naturally they also gave us great recommendations where to go and visit in the area.

A hidden gem

The Pension is in the middle of fields and forest, very quiet and beautiful. The hosts Max and Christophe are super kind and you feel at home right away! Nice comfortable bedroom, brand new bathroom, delicious and abundant breakfast. Just perfect!

Very enjoyable

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and Max and Kristoph were very kind. The game room and heated pool is a nice feature to keep the kiddos entertained. The room was very comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 3.

窓やバルコニーから、のどかな景色が堪能出来て大満足。レストランの場所など親切に教えてくれた。朝食は素敵な食器とともに席が準備されていた。特にパンが美味しかった。屋外プールは季節的に使われることがないと思うが、落ち葉の回収など手入れが行き届いており、景観を損なわなかった。夜はとても静かに過ごせた。

Absolut zu empfehlen! Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir fühlten uns wirklich sehr wohl. Danke! 🤩 sehr kinderfreundlich mit extra Spielzimmer. Gerne wieder!

Un endroit magnifique au cœur d'une très belle région, où l'on peut se ressourcer. Un accueil chaleureux reçu par les deux gérants de l'établissement. Les chambres parfaites et très propres, Au sous sol, de quoi occuper les jeunes et les moins jeunes , billard etc. Quant au petit déjeuner, il n'y manque rien, parfait !!

Gibt es nichts ..waren mit unseren Motorrädern da ☺️ Die Gastgeber sind einfach der Hammer Mega hilfsbereit und super nett und sehr herzlich 🤩wir wurden jeden Abend mit zu einem Restaurant genommen . Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Pension buchen 🫠 Ganz ganz lieben Dank an Max Christoph und Robert ihr seid top 👍 Wir hatten Mega viel Spaß bei euch ☺️und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt 😉

Ein sehr schönes Hotel zum Wohlfühlen.

Sehr liebe Gastgeber. Man wird herzlich empfangen. Uns wurde sogar unser Gepäck auf unser Zimmer getragen. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und es wurde immer wieder alles aufgefüllt.

Mir kam die Matratze sehr durchgelegen vor. Ich hatte eine Kuhle in der Mitte.

Erholsamer Urlaub in einer Unterkunft in dr man sich willkommen fühlt!

Die freundlichen und aufmerksamen Gastgeber und das liebevoll angerichtete Frühstück. Die ruhige Umgebung fanden wir toll, den beheizten Pool, der sehr schön angelegt war und die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft.

Es gab keine Trennwand zum Nachbarn auf dem Balkon (da fehlte ein wenig die Privatsphäre).

Mooi verzorgd ontbijt. Grote kamer die heel netjes is. De kinderen hebben genoten van hun momentjes in de speelkamer en de banken vol gezelschapsspelletjes. En het verwarmde zwembad was, ondanks het slechte weer, ook een succes. Heel gastvrije host die elke ochtend klaar staat met praktische tips over uitstapjes die je kan maken.

Max en Christof zijn erg vriendelijke mensen met veel omgevingskennis. Mocht je iets willen of nodig hebben ze regelen het voor je. De omgeving is prachtig en ook het ontbijt is heerlijk.

Calme. Une vraie coupure !

Petit déjeuner copieux. La salle qui se transforme en espace convivial le soir avec jeux de société. Nous avons rajouté une nuitée, Max et Chistoph se sont fortement arrangés pour pouvoir nous accueillir une nuit supplémentaire.! Ils ont fait des merveilles !
