Attitude towards our kids weren’t appreciated upon arrival. They were friendly during breakfast though! There’s a chill out lounge that was pretty loud going into the night making it difficult to sleep and the rooms aren’t soundproof.

definitely does not worth the price

nothing was like the photos or the expectations. Does not worth the price at all! 1. Room: The standard double room is too small that if you have a suitcase with you, you would not be able to move inside. 2. Room facilities: in spite of what the staff told us, we had 0 access to the wifi in the room! the only facilities in the room are a TV with 4 channels available, and a side table lamp that was broken in our room. 3. View: We asked for a mountain view but our window was towards the neighbor's roof and a bit of a sidewalk. 4. The reception people are only there from 2-6 pm. So if you need something or have a question after 6 you have to wait till the next day! Also, the cafe downstairs of the restaurant is closed in the evening (summer- weekend). So if you want to eat or drink sth after 6 pm it would be a very big challenge to find sth in this small town. 5. The Bathroom: there is not a single sort of soap to shower with and good luck finding any in the middle of such town if you don't have it with you. The Wash Basin Size is not even standard. no way you can wash your face or brush without making a pool of water on the floor!! 6. The staff seemed nice but when we asked one of them to fill up our water bottle before hiking with some simple tap water in the kitchen,( because the washbasin in the room is too small to fill a bottle!) he said we can fill it in from the public toilet in their restaurant (which has the same washbasin) !! 7. After posting the review for their hotel they have sent me a very rude Email calling me and my partner "stupid" for writing this review and threatening to inform Booking that we are bad guests because I have not mentioned that they have been so nice that they kept our suitcases for extra 2 hours after we checked out and also because they gave us an extra pillow after I complained that their pillows are extremely small and uncomfortable!

Einfaches sauberes Hotel

Wenn man viel unternimmt und unterwegs ist, ist das Hotel genau das Richtige, einfacher check-in, nach vorheriger Absprache. Sauberes Hotel, einfaches aber gutes Frühstücksbuffet, allerdings nur wenn mehr Gäste im Haus sind ,ansonsten wird das Frühstück in einem extra Raum hergerichtet, hat den Vorteil dass man für sich ist, und flexibel ist von den Zeiten her, die Brötchen selbst aufzubacken, und die Kaffeemaschine einzuschalten, sowie hartgekochte bunte Eier statt frische Frühstückseier oder Rühreier sind jetzt nicht jedermanns Sache, aber manche schätzen gerade das eigenständige unabhängige frühstücken. Es gibt leider kein Lokal oder Bar direkt im Hotel. Rein zum Übernachten mit Frühstück reicht das Hotel vollkommen aus.

Bei wenigen Gästen in einem separaten Raum zu frühstücken wo ich mir mein Frühstück selber auf den Tisch stelle, Kaffeemaschine einschalte und Brötchen aufbacke, mögen andere sehr schätzen für uns war das leider nicht das ideale

Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt im Herzen des Hochschwarzwaldes

Mein Aufenthalt im Herzen des Hochschwarzwaldes war rundum gelungen. Die Unterkunft überzeugt durch ihren authentischen Charme und eine herrlich ruhige Lage, von der aus sich die wichtigsten Highlights der Region in nur 30 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichen lassen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das ausgesprochen freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, das alle Wünsche mit großer Aufmerksamkeit erfüllt hat. Es war garantiert nicht der erste und letzte Aufenthalt, da dieser unvergesslich bleiben wird, und spreche gerne eine klare Weiterempfehlung aus.

Das schlechte Wetter, welches am letzten Tag zugeschlagen hat :)

Gelungener Wochenendtrip

Alles top, genau wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten. Zimmer war schön, Betten gemütlich, alles was man gebraucht hat war da. Da nicht so viele Gäste inkl. Frühstück da waren, hatten wir unser eigenes kleines Frühstückszimmer. Auch das war schön und es hat alles geschmeckt. Es wurde sich super gekümmert.

Al bij al een oké verblijf, maar met ruimte voor verbetering.

We verbleven hotel Charlott in Eisenbach en hadden een aangenaam verblijf. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig maar zeker in orde: een buffet met alles wat nodig is, zonder overdaad maar ruim voldoende om de dag goed te starten. De badkamer en kamer waren netjes onderhouden, al is het sanitair en het meubilair wat verouderd.

Wat ons wel teleurstelde, was het ontbijt op de laatste dag. Omdat de uitbaters door omstandigheden niet aanwezig konden zijn en wij de enige hotelgasten waren, kregen we geen buffet maar een apart klaargezet ontbijtje met brood, charcuterie en kaas. Op zich was dit prima, maar zaken die normaal gezien wel bij het buffet horen, zoals warme eitjes, spek of worstjes, ontbraken volledig. Bovendien moesten we de broodjes zelf nog afbakken. Toch betaalden we daarvoor hetzelfde bedrag als voor het gewone ontbijtbuffet, wat naar ons gevoel niet in verhouding stond.

Vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw. Zeer rustige locatie. Ruime kamers. Zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Ideaal om fiets/wandelactiviteiten te doen. Ruime parkeermogelijkheden.

Het sanitair is een beetje verouderd, maar alles wordt netjes onderhouden.

Gastgeber waren sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Ambiente Familiär und guter Laune bestückt. Für uns ein voller Erfolg. Morgenbuffet ansprechend und frisch. Nicht aufdringlich aber alle Informationen für den Aufenthalt im Hotel aber auch für gute Erlebnisse. Man spührt dass beide ihre Arbeit leben & lieben.

Für uns hatt es super gepasst, somit keine negativen Anmerkungen. Wir waren vor zwei Jahren schon einmal da, es hat sich nicht zum schlechten gewendet. Wir kommen definitv wieder.

Il est souhaitable que le lit d'un couple soit doté d'un équipement approprié. Pour le bien être du couple, il faut un matelas double ,couette double et des oreillers de qualité. Sono la chambre était magnifique.

Ein schönes Wochenende

Das Haus hat 2 super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Der besondere Flair des Hauses, finde ich, ist hervorzuheben. Im Inneren des Hauses fühlst du dich in eine vergangene Zeit zurück versetzt. Die Zimmer sind rustikal eingerichtet. Die Zimmer mit Balkon haben einen super Ausblick. Das Frühstück als Buffet ist gut und die Gastgeber geben sich viel Mühe und füllen laufend nach und fragen ob alles ok ist. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind kommen wir gerne wieder.

Frühstück könnte frische Brötchen haben, statt Aufbackbrötchen. Frühstücksangebot insgesamt angemessen und gut, wenn auch sichtbar ist, dass es Standard Supermarktware ist. Service ist freundlich und empathisch. Es wird regelmäßig aufgefüllt, sollte etwas leer sein.

Internet im hinteren Einzelzimmer nicht koppelbar. Ein paar Meter weiter vorne im Gang weiter vorne alles gut. Hatte aber nicht reklamiert, da ich eine Nacht ohne WLAN auskomme :-)

Schönes Hotel mit schöner Aussicht.

Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war gut und abwechslungsreich. Das Zimmer mit Balkon war angenehm und groß. Genug Parkplätze vorhanden.

Die Dusche war ein wenig zu klein und hat keinen Abzug.

Der Hotel war Top- aus dem Fenster Berge zu sehen, Top Preise, sehr gutes Frühstück mit allem dabei. Sehr freundliche Personal- mit viel reise Tipps in Umgebung. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sehr gerne noch mal besuchen.

Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber zweckmäßig und sauber und für den Zimmerpreis absolut angemessen!
