I would not recommend

Location was great!

The bed made an horrible sound and was impossible to sleep. Also when we asked for help to the stuff the answer was “feel free to find another accommodation, this is not a 3 star hotel”. The heating system was horrible also, we were sweating in the middle of December so we turned it off and opened a window and they also told us that we couldn’t do that either.

Is really a good location for the price. Is right next to the funicolare

Only 2 things i didn't like, one is that is right next to the street so you can hear everything. And the other thing is that if you want to talk to the staf, they take a long time to reply.

Awful, avoid this property!

Unprofessional owners, they left my and my kid without a key to enter the room, gave us wrong information, wrong address is also on the booking reservation, and beside that, the absolutely misleading information on the booking when you make reservation regarding to private bathroom, flat tv and towels in the room. Also demanding the cash money for city tax for me and the kid, and it was already paid with booking and for the kids you don’t pay the city tax.

Very basic accomodation

Super location in the upper town. Nice coffee capsules or sharing kitchen

Very basic room. Detached bathroom which was fine, you have to walk on the main corridor, but on the last morning the cleaner was inside our bathroom using the staff room and it didn't feel nice. Quite noisy there is no soundproofing in between rooms or the street. The cleaner arrived early in the morning like 8am and started making noise as well as moving around glasses bottles on the floor several time. Very unpleasant.

Perfect stay in Bergamo

Perfect stay in Bergamo old town for the opera night. Walking distance to any restaurant and teatro sociale. The room is clean,cosy and warm. A lot space in the bathroom. Shower water is strong and warm. Enough coffee and if you want to cook they have a common kitchen. Check in was super easy. Clear instruction and communication. I loved it :)

Exceptional hot weather whilst we were there, so lack of air conditioning made it quite difficult

Air conditioning didn’t work - fans were supplied but too noisy to sleep with, unfortunately nobody could fix the air conditioning because we were there over a weekend- if the air conditioning was working the room would have been really good

Ideal stop-over spot, and very well located to visit the best of Bergamo.

Very convenient location. clean and tidy. I only used the accommodation as a brief pre-flight stopover but it was ideal at a fair price.

The only problem I had, was that it was booked at short notice and I did not have WhatsApp to easily the get the communications needed to get access to the property. For some reason, email messages through Booking.com did not arrive in time. I did manage to resolve this with the owners in the end, but I would advise having WhatsApp for booking this property.

No air conditioning

Very clean and great location

Air conditioning is mentioned multiple times in the listing but I when I asked for the remote I was told it wasnt available. It was over 34 degrees while we were there so the room was very uncomfortable. Wouldn’t have booked if I’d have known air con it wasn’t available

Very nice, clean and new aprtments. I recommend it.

Whole object was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped (coffe, tea, microwave, fridge, electric cooker, frying pans, e.t.c.) Location was perfect. It was approx 60 meters from Funicolare. My next time in Bergamo I think will choose the same apartment.

One small minus - room #2 has bathroom outside the room. But it was big and private bathroom.

Very nice apartment, clean and the location is perfect. Very quiet area. It's in the center of Bergamo Alta, closed to many shops. Easy access from the airport. Sheghi, the manager was very friendly and gave us many information about the city, the transportation and the restaurants.

Exceptional

Very nice apartment! Very clean and warm rooms, big bathrooms, shared kitchen equipped with everything you need in order to prepare a coffee, tea, or simple breakfast. The location is perfect - heart of the Bergamo Alta, close to many restaurants, shops and funicular, but the same time very quiet area. Easy access to the building and the room with panels, no needed key. The manager was very friendly and gave us many information about the city, the transportation and the restaurants, also book us a taxi for our way back. I strongly recommend that place.

Good location, helpful staff, clean room. we had some problems with the shower, is seems that was a blockage and the water flowed outside. The owner reacted quick and within a minutes the problem was solved,.in addition the owner compensated us with great breakfast

Not a bad option for the price

This room was in an excellent location and was spotlessly clean. The shower was good and strong and the bed was comfortable. The area was very quiet.

The host was not able to provide the extra pillow I requested, and the room and sheets were heavily perfumed, which was not good for me because I am sensitive to odors. Also, there was a strong street light that shown in the room all night. Dark curtains would greatly help.

The location is perfect. Easy reachable all important places to see.

The communnication with the owner could be better and without any confusions and mistakes. Pity our room didn´t had the bathroom in. We had to go across the corridor. Anyway we liked it. It´s a clean and pretty nice accommodation close to the historical center.

Listing is Very Misleading

-The location was perfect. It was so nice walking right out of the room into the old town in the evening or early morning before it became busy. Lots of little shops and places to eat nearby. -Shower pressure was great. -Room was clean and spacious. -Air conditioning worked great.

We were disappointed that the listing is quite misleading. The property is three rooms with a shared kitchen, so it should be listed as “APP9 Rooms with Shared Kitchen” there is no "and apartments". You enter into the kitchen, then each of the rooms is in a row down the hall, starting with the double room. -I was hesitant to write this, because the host/manager is defensive when responding to reviews rather than using them to improve for future guests. -No “private kitchenette” as is listed under the Double Room. -No “sitting area” as is listed. -No “Tea/Coffee maker in All Rooms” as is listed. -No “soundproofing” as is listed - We could hear every time the main door or a room door was opened. We could hear conversations happening in the hall or the kitchen. We could hear when people were talking as they walked on the street right outside of the bedroom and bathroom windows. -Check-in time was supposed to be 15:00. We arrived at 16:00. The housekeeper was still there. We had to wait in the kitchen for 15 minutes while she finished preparing our room. The next day, we noticed she didn’t even arrive until 16:00, although, to be fair, we don’t know if there were new guests checking in that day. -Parking, as listed, is not available on site. Be aware that the 24 hour blue parking spaces are not a “few meters from APP9” as messaged after booking in terms of walking. They are a 600m walk from the room, so if you have a lot of luggage, register your car as instructed, so you can drive to the main entry door to unload luggage. You will also need to be sure to pop back by the parking space each day to purchase another day’s parking pass if you are staying more than 24 hours. The spots were about 75% full at the end of May, so I imagine during peak season, you’ll be lucky to get a spot at all.
