Beautiful and Spacious Apartment at 3rd floor without lift.

Stylish and spacious living room and kitchen. Near train station

1) 2nd bedroom is located at attic without toilet accessible via small stairs. Not suitable for senior people or people with mobility issue to come down to use toilet at night. We had to leave the lights on all night near the stairs to ensure no safety issue. If can sleep through the night then no issue. This room basically for kids. 2) Not enough toilet paper. Only 2 rolls for four persons for 2 days. We needed to use our toilet papers. 3) We were reminded that if we do not clean the place before leaving otherwise cleaning charges of Euro30 may be levied. I feel that such condition should be informed up front as I might not have booked this place as I do not fancy having to do cleaning work during my holiday. Furthermore no specific instructions on what type of cleaning required. There is only 1 trash bag provided which barely enough to hold 2 days of our trash. Also no kitchen paper towel to wipe table etc. 4) Owner did not reply to my messages seeking cleaning instructions.

It is OK to stay there.

I liked the location because it met our needs except for the parking.

Molds are overtaking the bathroom. Bathroom needs the special and professional care otherwise it will become a real problem. Garbage is complicated. It is difficult to find a glass container. You have to look for it in town. For us it was difficult to understand what can be thrown where. Our system back home is different. It should be marked on containers, for instance “plastic only” or “paper only”, etc. A proper cleaning should be done on leaving otherwise it is extra 30 eur. Also you have to leave cash upon leaving 1 eur/ person/ night. I looked for this info in the booking.com and I could not see it. It came as a surprise. It is better when there are no hidden costs. You see the price, you pay it and you are sure it covered all.

This property could have been much safer and comfortable with these improvements

Good location.as easy to walk into St Malo and some good restaurants nearby. Kitchen quite well equipped and living space pleasant.

Real concern as the duplex is on the top floor of an old building with no fire escape and no working smoke detector in the property or fire extinguisher or fire blanket ! Think bed in upstairs room needed replacing as very uncomfortable and the couch downstairs apparently suitable for sleeping wasn't much better! The open staircase isn't so safe either with small steps and quite a shaky handrail so really not suitable we thought for children or the elderly and even my son of 44 didnt feel safe on it. Lack of cleaning equipment eg decent mop, brushes although a reasonable vacuum cleaner. Also window in upstairs bedroom.didnt open.. TV reception.very erratic and router wire was trapped by downstairs bedroom.door. Front door lock difficult to use as too near the handle.

the constant reminder about the cleaning fee. i never had to clean a holiday rental, and beside the messages from booking, there were reminders in the apartment. it would be easier to have a price with a reasonable cleaning fee.

Exceptional

The flat is nice. The host was helpful and polite. For me it wasn’t clear from the photo the layout of the apartment. It is separated bedroom with double bed, bathroom (toilet&shower) and common space - kitchen and living room in the 1st floor. And the stairs to the 2nd floor, where is sliding bed for 2, little table and 2 armchairs (with no walls). Before leaving you should make cleaning by yourself or pay extra 30 eur.

Pas top !

Le calme de l appartement malgré le fait qu il se situe sur un Boulevard. La propreté du linge de lit.

Le bâtiment intérieur est plus que détérioré ! (À notre arrivée on à même cru que c etait une arnaque) Sonnette du batiment arrachée, porte détériorée, commun du bâtiment sale et détérioré) Pas de lampe sur notre palier, pas évident pour ouvrir la porte lorsque l on rentre plus tard. Lampe de la salle de bain qui clignote non stop, literie dure comme du béton ! Reflux d odeur d'égout qui remonte de l evier de la salle de bain. Équipement de la cuisine pas top et vétuste. Le propriétaire n a jamais répondu à nos messages avant la réservation (booking et whatsapp).. les seuls messages reçus sont les messages préfaits automatiques envoyés par Booking. La seule fois où il a répondu c est quand nous l avons prévenu de notre départ anticipé.

L'appartement était grand, mais sale, et le propriétaire n’a pas été honnête

bonne localisation, l'appartement lumineux et spacieux

Le propriétaire m’a mal informé : mon arrivée était prévue vers 17h, mais il m’a envoyé un message dès 8h du matin pour me remercier d’avoir séjourné dans son logement, en me demandant de faire le ménage au mieux ou de laisser 30 € pour les frais de ménage. Je l’ai recontacté par la suite, mais je n’ai jamais eu de réponse. Quand je suis arrivée au logement, la salle de bain présentait des moisissures sur les carreaux de carrelage, le réfrigérateur était un peu sale, il y avait des taches de ketchup sur un meuble de cuisine et le four était également sale.

3. Etage, kein Aufzug. Treppenhaus eng und Stufen mit unangenehmer Stufenhöhe. Von außen und außerhalb der Wohnung wirkt alles wenig einladend. Was ärgerlich ist und bei der Buchung nicht angezeigt wurde, der Vermieter verlangt für die Reinigung 30€, ansonsten muss man alles selber zu seiner Zufriedenheit putzen! Das war eine unschöne Überraschung. Im Sommer wird es sehr warm, da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden und Wohnung im Dachgeschoss ist.
