The place is beautiful. But the service in this place is like a two star hotel. What they dont tell is that the transfer here is a big hassel. When you show up at the hotels reception on the pier, to get to the hotel. They tell you to wait 60min and then pay 100bath per person, or buy a private boat for 1500 bath. Then you need to drag your luggage 150meters through a beach to get to the lobby. When you get to the tiny lobby it is packed. The free welcome drink they offer you is a ice tea. Then they give you ONE room card. If you want one extra because you are two people in the room, you pay 500 extra. If you loose a room Key (normal plastic) they charge you 1500. If the towels are not clean enough after you leave, they charge you 1700. The toiletpaper you have to put in a box next to the toilet. The restaurant here is the worst service I ever had at any restaurant. They dont clean your tabel or remove plates. They just put new plates on top. And really really slow. Oh, and the resort itself, really beautiful, but full of random people, not living in the hotel. We booked a tropical villa, they claim is 90 square meters. That is a plain LIE. the room is best case half the size they claim. The food here suck. The drinks suck. In general I dont think the staff here gives a shit. They are just here to take your money. The only exception is housekeeping, they are so sweet. I will NEVER come back. I would NEVER RECOMEND going here. Dont be fooled by the beautiful photos.

We had an absolutely incredible stay and couldn’t recommend this resort highly enough. Due to unexpected flight delays and cancellations caused by the situation in Dubai, our travel plans kept changing, but the hotel staff were unbelievably accommodating and understanding throughout. They made a stressful situation so much easier for us, and we’re genuinely so grateful for their flexibility and kindness. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The resort was spotless, with a real attention to detail that didn’t go unnoticed. The rooms were beautifully maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyond to help. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. The location was also ideal, perfectly situated to enjoy everything around us while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. Overall, an amazing hotel in every sense. Despite the travel disruptions, this ended up being such a memorable and positive experience thanks to the incredible team here. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Thailand. Thank you

Overall we enjoyed our stay and the staff were really welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We were in a tropical villa which was very nicely renovated and the free mini bar items were a nice added touch. We didn’t get any use from the spa bath outside but the outdoor shower came in handy. My only issue was with the stained and/or bleach spotted bath and beach towels as well as the shower drain which was very slow to drain away. We had to wait a while between showers for the water to disappear. I would definitely stay here again and given the other options in the area, this is a great choice for a reasonable price.

Railay Bay is over crowded with tons of tourists coming for day trips from surrounding areas. Railay Bay seems to be full on budget travelers- there was weed and mushroom shops everywhere. I did not think the area was appropriate for my children. The hotel itself is decent, but over priced. We stayed in the pool villa with a room for my kids and one for us. It is a good setup for older children and the private pool was needed since the other pools were over crowded. Over the 4 days we stayed we were only able to get a sun chair by the beach pool one day. The spa is nice but books up fast. The breakfast was fine but not worth the cost of the hotel. Overall we were disappointed in Railay Bay and the hotel. We would recommend looking at other areas in Thailand that are not as overrun with tourist.
