Stunning place, perfect location, amazing staff

What a pleasant experience in Krabi, Ao Nang. There is nothing not to like about Centara. One of the best experiences at a hotel I’ve ever had. First, the staff are exceptional. We especially loved working with Rose to book excursions. She had incredible insight because of her knowledge and expertise. She was able to coordinate with the tours guides to take my husband and I to certain locations when they would be less crowded or not as hot during the day. At this property, you don’t have to cross any busy street to get direct beach access from the resort! We were surprised with desserts hand delivered to our room at night, adorable towel arrangement displays on our bed for our honeymoon. Nice room service & it was quick. The stay at Centara resort was magical, and it was all thanks to the hard work staff members who are knowledgeable, polite, and energetic. Amenities were wonderful, the food and drinks were yummy. Buffet was a highlight! The omelette station was so delicious along with many of the other cuisines you could choose from complementary. Location is spot on. It’s the last resort on the strip, so it feels tucked away and quiet, but it is incredibly walking distance to the entire beachfront area & really close proximity to monkey Trail! I would recommend this place 1 million times and would absolutely return here in the future.

A tad hard to get a beach chair in the sun during peak hours. It was managed well though with signage stating chairs will be given to other guests, if not occupied for over 45 minutes.

This resort is not my cup of tea. Too much family oriented and the whole Ao Nang is too much of a charter destination.

No regrets staying at the Centara Ao Nang.

I loved the location . The beach was beautiful. We had a pool room and a swim up room. Both were good. The beach chairs are under a natural canopy of trees for shade. The breakfast was good.

We could not find any outlets in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have more beach chairs. The coffee machine adds too much foam to the cappuccino.

Wouldn’t stay again and didn’t consider it 4 star standard, but the staff were curtios

Spacious room but even though it was supposed to be a superior room it had a connecting door to the next room and every single sound could be heard, I have never been in a hotel room like that before, unless it is 2 rooms of the same family! Couldn’t be moved as the reception said the hotel was full, which it definitely wasn’t…

The swimming pool was nice but the lifeguard did not control the teenage kids using the water slides, all coming down together, it’s a miracle someone wasn’t hurt, and my husband and I had to tell them to stop throwing a full bottle of water in and out of the pool, it almost hit me!

There are two pools. The pool near Sands Restaurant should be adults only. A day by the pool is ruined by children constantly shouting, throwing balls etc. There is a perfectly good pool that family’s with children can use.

Value for money

The location, the private beach and the property as a whole was awesome. I will book it again if I go to krabi, which Im sure I will. The facilities were on the point.

I cant complain anything but If I have to give some pointers of improvement then I would say they could have added Indina breakfast to the menu as there were lot of Indian tourists flocking to that property.

Staying at the Centara was a great experience and I do want to come back, the only small detail was the water pressure, it was a bit weak, however, that's it, everything else was perfect, the staff were so lovely all the time!!! definitely family friendly.

The only thing I would improve is the water pressure in the bathroom and shower. Everything else was amazing!!!!! Good price overall, really nice people, would be nice to have better prices at the pool restaurant, just a 10 m walk, and you have half food prices.

Beautiful resort in an excellent location. Room was large, clean and spacious. Both pools were amazing, as were the pool bars and the cocktails!! All of the staff were incredibly polite and nothing was ever too much trouble and the buffet breakfast was 11/10

Great Location, Great Stay at Krabi

Hotel upkeep, veg options at breakfast, facilities, location, pizza, pool slides. Good set of dining and drinks offers. Free upgrade to a great room.

Room dining and housekeeping staff has extreme difficulty in understanding English. That meant that even the basic asks took much much longer and many interactions to get done. E.g. Warm milk for the baby took more than 30 mins and 3 conversations.

A lovely short getaway

There are 2 pools at the hotel, one with slides and another facing the sea, both are good. Room is very spacious as well and good location. Thought the beach isn't private beach but it's far enough from the noise and close enough to wak out the the hustle and bustle.

Bed was not very comfortable, pillows were too soft to my liking. The breakfast hall was rather small when the hotel is at its full capacity.

Mediocre hotel, wouldn’t recommend vs all the other hotels we have stayed in across Thailand

Spacious room, nice locale to get to the beach, nice spa on-site. Breakfast had a good selection. Very nice gesture of a small cake and “happy birthday” message for my birthday.

Staff were very poor & not helpful when we had questions. Air Conditioning did not cool the room, it was limited to 19 degrees only and didn’t get any of the bathroom cool. We were only provided 1 room key so couldn’t leave the air conditioning on to get the room down to 19 degrees, so struggled with 24 degrees the whole time (in low/cooler season). The hotel was far too noisy and other guests were also rude and boisterous. Shower leaked and sprayed water in every direction when trying to use. Hotel stay was very expensive for what you get vs boutique hotels. Despite being a “big” birthday celebration our request of a room facing the sea and being on one of the top floors was not offered to us, instead we were on the second floor (though it was quiet so we did appreciate that).

Stuff was kind and helpful , location front the beach .

Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations, especially considering the high price. The room was not comfortable for sleeping due to constant noise from neighboring rooms. Additionally, the breakfast lacked variety and could use more options. Overall, I don’t believe the stay was worth the cost.

Wow what a great hotel. Beautiful views from sea view room. Rooms so spacious. Lovely access to the beach, restaurant on the edge of beach. Nice walk through to food places and 2 min walk to ao nang strip. Peaceful. Food and drink was exceptional. Staff were great 👍

If you had more staff like Tony, your service would be even more outstanding.

The reception team was very professional, especially in terms of public relations. Tony, in particular, was extremely helpful and courteous—we were very pleased with his service. However, some of the waiters at the restaurant were quite rude. There should be a supervisor in place to monitor and manage the staff to prevent such issues.
