Great location, clean room

The location is excellent. The service was great and they helped us with tours. The restaurant was so so and not much to write home about. The rooms were clean and had a lovely pool in front to enjoy. Overall, good stay.

The restaurant. Everything else was great. Nothing more to say about this hotel. The beaches are overcrowded during the day. Sunrise and Sunset are good when all the people leave. So, if you want peace go to the beach next door which is amazing.

Great location with bungalows/rooms stretching across the isthmus, quiet and with direct pool access, useful balcony.

I like how it was in front of the beach and the landscape looks neat

I didn’t like the breakfast, we stayed here for 3 nights and in all of those time, the breakfast did not have many options, there’s always a line for coffee and eggs because the staff are really slow and I wouldn’t say it was worth the value we paid for

Great Location

Beautiful location on the beach front at West Railay. We arrived at the pier on East Railay expecting to have to walk a long way but there was a luggage cart and staff member meeting another couple, this was lovely as he popped our bags in the cart and took us on a short cut to the resort. If I was to stay again I would pre-arrange this with the resort. Amazing location on the beach front as well as close to the street with all the shops and restaurants. We stayed for NYE and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the fireworks off the barge at midnight. Was fun, busy with a cool vibe without being crazy. Railay is very busy but we loved it for a few days before heading somewhere quieter. In saying that though, our hotel room was lovely and quiet.

We didn't participate in the New Year Gala that the resort was holding as the prices per person were crazy and the music sounded pretty bad. In saying that we had the best time restaurant hopping, beach walking while listening and watching everybody else's NY Gala's and soaking in the atmosphere.

Good location and rooms, needs improvement of staff and service for the price point

The pool, the location, tranquility, size of room and quality of room The concierge guy who carried our luggage to the room. And the monkeys. Not a criticism of the hotel, but if you haven’t been ti Railay before, you should be aware that thus hotel is right on the main beach, but this also has many many longtail boats parked on it until after sunset. So the beach is very busy, but it is beautiful, especially in the morning before all the boats arrive and at sunset. There is another beach directly behind it which is really very ugly and I would not recommend getting a hotel on that beach. Then there is the Phra Nang cave beach which you can walk to in about 15 mins. This is beautiful but only one hotel is on it and the beach is incredibly busy during the day. So weighing up your options, I think Railay village hotel is in the best location on the island and once you’re in the resort it feels very peaceful. There’s also a shortcut through the hotel to Phra Nang cave beach which only hotel guests can use.

The breakfast was below average. Raw eggs, very little choice especially for the cost of the hotel. The pastries had no flavour. The staff in the restaurant and some of the reception staff were very inexperienced and couldn’t understand basic English. Even to get a boiled egg cooked so it wasn’t raw in the middle. The general attitude of staff in the restaurant area was poor, don’t feel welcoming and struggled to communicate There are too few sunbeds for guests, so people out their towels out early, the sunbeds are made of blue fake leather which gets incredibly hot in the sun. Very few of the sunbeds are in the sun so it’s difficult to sunbathe.

Overall, we had a very nice time at the hotel.

Beach was within very easy reach. around 100mtres. Location was very good with easy access to the beach and local shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful and quickly fixed any issues raised.

A poorly wired electric door-switch in the only cupboard in the room had a bare mains wire. Not good.

Would recommend the area for a day trip instead of staying there!

The staff were really really nice and the view was nice too.

It rained a lot whilst we were there even though it should’ve been dry season and the beach was dirty because of it and there was nothing to do which sucked. They should at least have some board games at the hotel for when it rains as loads of people would just sit in their rooms.

A wonderful stay in a perfect location.

The location is excellent. The hotel is situated right across from the beautiful western beach, directly in the middle of it, and also very close to the main street with its shops and restaurants. In addition, the hotel has a private path that leads to the eastern side of Railay Beach, which is very convenient. The rooms are excellent. They are clean, spacious, and pleasantly designed in a traditional style. Everything felt comfortable and well maintained. The hotel has two pools. The smaller pool is located near the beach and is not small at all, roughly 4 meters wide and about 15 meters long. The larger pool is about twice that length. The photos accurately reflect the hotel. It truly feels like a private, enclosed village right in the heart of the area. Breakfast is excellent. It is varied and includes both Western and Thai options, with omelets and egg dishes prepared to order in front of you. Overall, it offers great value for money. We received very good service throughout our stay. The staff helped us with personal issues, showed flexibility, and genuinely wanted to assist. Highly recommended for both the location and the overall experience.

Honeymoon suite

I like it how accessible it is. Very good location. But I booked honeymoon villa, but the jacuzzi was not working properly and its pretty old. I asked the guy to come and fix it but he took more than 2 hours to come and fix it. Rest everything is okay and I enjoyed a lot

Location is great, pool is great, bungalow is really nice.

Sheets weren’t changed so I felt dirty even after a shower the night before. Doesn’t sell alcohol, not that it’s essential, but durning my stay the restaurant (which is on the beach) was completely empty the whole time, this is absolutely the reason while…i believe it’s a cultural thing due to the owner. I’m happy to stand corrected though on that one. But it’s loosing serious business due to that particular thing. Staff look absolutely miserable.

The best location on Railay Beach! Spacious room, lovely pool & impeccable service!

Pool was amazing, a great mix of shade provided from the trees as well as full sun exposure. Literally could walk down our stairs directly into the pool. Breakfast was always solid & you can’t beat the view. Staff was so accommodating & kind. The main “street” is directly around the corner with great bars, restaurants & shops!

Our ac was difficult to figure out, but we got it by the 2nd day lol

Jacuzzi did not work first night which was disappointing as we booked the jacuzzi room then by found a rat in the jacuzzi ,didn’t start well but staff where amazing about it. Needs to be checked.

It is a lovely resort hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are nice and friendly. It is close to many facilities in the town.

The room was connected to the next door with a single door, which made my stay uncomfortable. The next customer was extremely loud during midnight so I couldn't sleep well.

We loved our stay , would highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Railay Village , the room was lovely , clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the swimming pools and gardens were divine. The fact that it is situated amongst a national park and accessible by long boat just made it so much more beautiful and the monkeys, birds and lizards we saw were amazing. So nice to have our breakfast right on the beach and a stroll to the local restaurants at night was beautiful. Highly recommend.

Incredibly Noisy air conditioner First room we were given backed onto nightclub next door and we had loud music and couldn’t sleep Too many steps/ levels in the room- trip hazard Unfriendly staff- not interested- particularly breakfast staff- except for young boy on Egg station. Cleaning of room was very average There weren’t 2 cable TVs in room No private garden- just one out front Jacuzzi didn’t work properly.

Hotel is located in a perfect spot on Railay East beach centrally positioned adjacent to the Walking Street. Lush gardens. Clean pool. Large rooms. Staff friendly. We chose to dine each night at the Terrace in Ravaydee resort and the food and dining experience was exceptional.

Breakfast buffet was fine but could have been better. Poor signage on arrival from pier, a little difficult to navigate with baggage when you first arrive.

Hotel is under maintenance, that is good because means they care of it, but they construction sounds are loud during the day. You can chill out on the second long pool, just the main at the front.

Nice location but unfair treatment at check out

At check out we had to pay food and drinks from room bar that we didnt used. They show us the list of used things from the bar even though the room service was never in the room during our 3 day stay. We tried to explain them but boat waiting for us therefore we paid and leave with unfair treatment experience.

Pretty resort with an amazing pool

Good location on the beach, beautiful gardens and great swimming pool at the back of the property.

Only two TV channels in English which were news channels., a couple more would be good! Would have been nice to have been notified of the construction work happening at the property. Rooms close to the walking street could be disturbed by the music at night - luckily we were given a room on the opposite side of the property.
