It is a convenient simple and comfortable hotel

Pros- clean rooms, clean bathroom, was given room on 7th floor, so no noise, 7-8 minute walk to Westbahnhof metro, same distance to many eateries and shopping. Vienna is well connected so no issues if one can take metro Cons- little old fashioned hotel, some renovation going downstairs- we were not affected, need a dust bin in the room, coffee, tea in the room would be better

I’m not even sure if this Ibis is a hotel or just a shelter. The room has beds, a TV and a bathroom, and that’s it. The room is very out dated. It’s not that close to the tourist areas but the price is close to those that are. If you need your bed sheet to be replaced after dinner hours, you will need to wait until the next day. The phone at the elevators doesn’t work properly, so good luck in case of emergency. I certainly will not go back to this shelter hotel.
