    Pros: Situated just 50 meters from the main station, offering exceptional convenience. It provides effortless access for travelers catching a train, taking a flight, or exploring city landmarks. Cons: No in-room refrigerator and no hotel ice machine. Consequently, keeping drinks or food chilled overnight is impossible. No in-room telephone. As a result, a trip downstairs to the front desk is required for any assistance or support. On the first day, the shower gel dispenser was empty or broken. The front desk had to be notified multiple times before the issue was finally resolved. On the second day, the room was not serviced until a formal request was made late in the afternoon.

    I emailed Novotel HBF to enquire about early check-in for my father who was arriving on a 17h flight very early morning. ***who I corresponded with via email, has been unhelpful. First, she told me that I would have to book an extra night for my father if he was arriving early morning. I replied saying I could not afford to do that because the rates were so expensive (we paid *** for six nights). Then, I asked what time in the morning my father would be able to check in. *** replied that that depends on availability. It is ironic that each time she signs off with "for any other concerns or questions, we are happy to assist you". And yet her replies were always curt and unwilling to help me out. Based on our tedious back-and-forth, this person is far from a problem solver. As someone in charge with customer queries, you should be able to troubleshoot problems and actively offer solutions! There were no offers to find a way, to see what she can do. I felt that she was so disinterested in helping me out. What terrible customer service!!!!!!!!!! I had to write another reply asking her if she could check in advance to see if any rooms were available before my booked date so she could assign that room to my father and we could book it for early check-in without having to pay a full night's fee. WE WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN!
